Does anyone think Pogba made the wrong move?
Nope. The loads of titles he's won in Italy and likely move to Barca this summer would probably have Pogba believing he was justified in moving on as well.

It's good to have home grown players around, especially one's who are boyhood fans of the club. But there are a lot better options out there we should go for, let's not let one goal disguise that.
Personally, I'd like it if Mourinho sat him down in the summer and told him "Your not a bad little player, but I'm looking at bringing someone else in. I'd be happy to have you around, it is a squad game after all; but I have to be honest with you and let you know your not likely to get more than a handful of starts next season, 10 max. You can stay here, playing for the team you've loved all your life, and accept your role as a bit part squad player, and try to impress me enough to force my hand to play you more. Or if you feel you need/deserve regular 1st team football, then I can let you go. I'll find you a good club to go to and won't demand too much money to put off potential buyers. The choice is yours."
I'm made up for him, genuinely I am, scoring the winner in the cup final for United? Fuck, I still dream that I might do that one day and I'm 38. And I don't want to be a downer on the best day of his career, just pointing out that this one goal doesn't suddenly mean all us doubters were wrong and he should be a regular, any more than Lee Martin's goal meant we should never have signed Irwin and just made Martin our 1st team left back throughout the '90's.
i genuinely dont understand this view of Jesse. i agree that he hasn't been a world beater, but he has hardly been the worst player in our line up either. at least by now i'd hope a few people would accept that he is doing better than Memphis, for example. but in all honesty, who has shown themselves worthy under this Dutch Manager? 2 players (maybe 3 if you include Rashford) have been at a consistently high level. if after a year with another manager, preferably one that lets the attacking players play a bit, Jesse still has not shown an improvement then i too will wish him well. at this point i cant say if he is as bad as we are seeing, most of the team look worse than they are under Van Booring.

The difference is that I've seen nothing from Lingard that suggests he has another level to his game. Memphis is different, there's clearly a very talented player in there who just hasn't done it yet for whatever reason. Maybe I'm wrong, and I hope I am, but I see a limited trier when I watch Lingard, someone like Richardson.

Doesn't matter until next year though. Then we'll know. Hope he takes his chances.

Lingard can hit some great goals, but he misses far too many easy chances for me (Clive). No other good side in this country would have him as anything other than a squad player, and nor should we. That's fine - squad players are absolutely necessary.

Not starter, but the sort who can definitely contribute over a season. Happy enough if he stays, not distraught if we move him on for a better replacement.

Mildly astounded people are so indifferent towards Lingard, of course we should keep him - he's homegrown and has just won us the F.A. Cup for the first time in more than a decade.
There have been far worse in the squad over the last few years and the fact that he's been at the club for so long matters in an age where City and Real Madrid have the same amount of British players on the pitch.
Squad player for now but perhaps he'll get even better with maturity, the fact tha he gets into situations where he looks likely to score means he has that instinct and last night proves he has the bottle to take a chance in a big game.
Delighted for Jesse, annoying social media presence but provides some quality on the pitch too.

When I see that little vid I think of a Movie, "The Last Samurai" where Cruise is being taught the sword.
"No Mind, NO MIND" If Jesse has time to think about it, causes him some problems. shot like that, no time to think, just react.
Makes me think that in spite of his "happy go lucky" appearance he has a bit of problem overthinking. That is another thing about that fooking idjit fulosopee that LvG was shoving down throats, far to much thinking about things Football is speed and reaction, LvG wants to play it like it is some kind of fooking low level tennis doubles match, back an forth look for opening and mis hit it so your partner takes one in the nose
IMO moving from the LvG crap to good attacking football , this club is going to astound some people as the starting XI-XV get time together.

He is just a toolbox. No getting around it, he simply is. I want to slap him.
EDIT: In fact, the worst thing I can think of to say about him is that he looks like a cockney in all his social media shite. Those Chelsea/Essex/Geordie Shore abominations, he'd fit right in.

He's just fucking annoying, I look at him and my fists clench in anger. It looks like he's bought into some misguided hype that he's made it, 'trademark' celebrations etc, He won't last 5 mins under Jose unless he sorts his shit out (Or becomes better than average at football)

Of course she can wear what she wants. You don't need to defend every woman on the planet mate. They can defend themselves. You also don't need to be a woman to comment on bad fashion sense. EDit: let's not let this thread get weird.
