Jesus Fucking Christ you can't be serious. Too fucking right I am. Their views in immigration and thir way of live should never be dictated by anybody. As the term goes fit in or fuck off and I back that with everything in me. Why the fuck should our way of life change to accommodate anybody? You adapt to a countries way of live not the other way around. If you disagree with that way of life its simple...fuck off to another one. This is where the political side of things has gone to hell. They're too afraid of upsetting the minority by saying a simple word...NO. What you have to ask yourself though Paul, is how much have we actually changed? People say they want something, but everyone just gets on with doing what they were doing anyway. It's a little like the furore about not being able to use the phrase Merry Christmas because it upsets minorities. This never actually happened and people still use it as an example of PC gone mad. If I thought for one minute that minority groups were actually influencing policy or decision making them I would cede the argument, but from what I can tell it's just lots of people in a space shouting at each other. |

We haven't changed mate, well not for the better anyway. We seemed to have regressed but I agree with you it is just a load of people shouting and doing very little. Which is why I have little or no time.for politics. |

This isn't aimed at anyone on here in particular, let me qualify this straight away, but you often find that opponents of political correctness often have their own (often right wing) ideological agendas to push. Yes there are times when with manholes and such it has been ludicrous. But in the main, what is termed political correctness has existed so that minorities have a voice and are not fucked over bythe dominant social forces, right or left. Were it not for this, many racist, sexist terms would still be part of the vernacular.

Although i've never seen those qutoes before that is very much the view of most Australians. The God thing not so much, it's not a very religious country but a big difference in Australia to many countries is you are expected to conform. If you don't then leave now. If you do then you won't encounter racism. In many other first world countries you are basically allowed in no problem and then expected to live in your black communities or Asian communities and that's where racism shows up a lot. |

Had a few troubles becoming accepted here myself. Hung on to my Englishness for too long and got a lot of shit for it so i dug my feet in and never really became Aussie. As people on here will have noticed I'm more proud of my English side really.
However I've also been on the other side where we had many foreign workers join us and one of them didn't adjust at all and we felt he was a danger to work with (we worked with live high voltage electricity) and nobody could have a decent chat with. He also liked to push his Christianity on us.
Just an anecdote. Feel free to comment.

In these extreme muslim worlds stripping off into your speedos and going for a dip can land you in jail and 500 lashes. An absolute non tolerance for non conformance. Yet when they land here they beg for the opposite and want to laud their beliefs in public on our streets taking advantage of our free world. Am I missing something? I believe that no adult person should have any inherent rights. Children get a pass until they have been educated. After that, you act like a c*nt, you get treated like a c*nt. Political correctness and freedom of speech have gone too far. Think whatever you like but trying to force other people to believe it as well is unacceptable. I know it maybe seems narrow minded or draconian, but the human race has protected these nebulous rights and they have been abused for too long. As for how many want their particular bastardised, extreme, Shariah law? Too fucking many. Religion and each one's bullshit hypocritical laws can get fucked. (No offence to any religious types on here by the way, this isn't aimed at individuals.) EDIT: Any time some terror group comes out and claims they have acted in the name of deity or by the will of a religion we should simply not accept it. A terrorist is a terrorist, no matter what religious banner they try to march under. is the bedrock we build our society upon Bestie, without it we wouldn't be participating in this thread. If we abandon that, then we may as well just give up. It's all very well saying that certain people shouldn't be able to say certain things, but it's the thin end of the wedge. Mass taking over of country is not legal immigration or taking in war refugees, it's a mass exodus to take over Europe. We need to formulate a safe zone for people displaced in this Isis battle, and provide for them until we can allow them to go back to their home land. When you look at most of the migration flow they are men from 20-40, why are they not fighting for their home land?
