Anyhoo, some of today’s offerings from the journo’s : We’re “In the clear” for Maguire” as City have pulled out (90minutes) Bruno Fernandes is now “Keen on a move to Old Trafford” and is “due in Manchester for a medical”(Sports Witness) And we have “Picked out Saul Niguez” if we flog Pog.(Express) Oh, and my Unicorn says “Hi” Except Sports Witness didn’t actually say that.

Nainngolan (sp)...is 31...what's Matic? Much the same...why would they want the deal? Is Radja (easier!) more mobile? Seems a really strange offer to me...

Lemina was decent for Juve (when I saw him anyway) and then made an odd move to Soton. He played well against us I seem to remember but this was held up as an example of his inconsistency. He’d show up against the likes of us but then stroll about against the bottom feeders. If he could get consistency there is talent there.
You’d imagine this is a plant to get Newcastle to cop on to themselves about Longstaff.

I think I might have even posted on here about it. Seen him in other games and they have totally passed him by or worse. Really don't think he's the sort of gamble we should be taking right now.

Also I'm all for going out and signing the best of the rest in our domestic division, as the League is should always be the priority. We actually have to sign the actual best of the rest though.
So the likes of Rice, Neves, etc.
Not fucking Lemina.

That’s what worries me. Soton are a very effective stepping stone club for players, so if you move there surely you should bust your arse in order to get your big move? You do that and the trajectory is clear, it’s established. For a talented player to not grasp that opportunity should have alarm bells ringing

It also smacks of typicalpenny pinching by Woodward.
