There was some talk recently about the hierarchy being furious with José at last year's memorial service at Old Trafford, due to his attire consisting of a hoodie and trainers. Not sure how true this is now, and don't remember it sticking out at the time, but in hindsight looking back at the pictures taken that day, it was slightly strange. it there'd any truth to this i find it ridiculous. in my mind there is no connection between clothes and paying respect. 5 years ago my best mate ever got married. me and him are like brothers,we saved each others lifes in the past. i would be dead today without him and vice versa. so i didnt know if i can even make it to his wedding. me and my girl had to travel 18hours by car. we only made it there in the same moment everyone started to leave towards the registry office from his house. 35 degrees outside, everyone dressed fancy. i had shorts and a simple white t-shirt. when we arrived and he sae us he started crying, said now we can all go to the registry office,he was waiting until the last moment in hope that i would show up. i apologized for my outfit,as everyone else was staring at me like crazy. and he said he doesnt give a shit,he knew i would not give a shit either. my attendance was all that mattered to him. long story short and completely different scenario obviously, but for me personally outfit and paying respect are not connected. might be for other people though but i dont see any problems with jose wearing a hoodie and trainers

I’m sure if we are going to point fingers after Munich, the club itself is far ahead in the pecking order over a manager wearing a hoodie to a memorial service?

I would consider the club not sending a representative, until the last minute, to the memorial service in Munich for the 60th a much bigger issue than what Jose was wearing. And even then they only sent an ex-player (sorry Denis).
Pointing the finger at Jose was just their way the cover their own failings.

Even more so when you consider the Mayor of Munich and both the President and Chairman of Bayern were all there.
