I was impressed at the way City shifted out unwanted players like Mangala, Nasri and Hart on loan. Major wage bill saving and will make it easier to sell them next summer.
But yeah our signings were way better than theirs. Their summer had more in common with 2007 than ours. Our summer was the kind of summer that Barcelona and Real Madrid used to have that made us green with envy.
Zlatan and Pogba are world class signings who can make a huge impact this season whereas Sane and Gabriel Jesus have a lot more in common with us signing Anderson and Nani in 2007 and we all know how that can turn out.
Bailly is way better than Stones while Miki is way better than Nolito.
Gundogan is classy but there is always a risk signing a player returning from a major injury as we discovered back in 2007 with Hargreaves.

I don't see how that's impressive when they are paying half their wages and even if the players do well this season unless they drop their demands (unlikely) City will have problems selling.

So reports are saying that mourinho called off the schneiderlin transfer to tottenham yesterday and spurs will try again in winter if schneiderlins situation remains the same.
Maybe i'm the only one but i really rate and like schneiderlin.he was a beast for southampton, one of the leagues best in his position.from the start he never really got a run of games for us. His passing is good, positioning aswell and he looks so calm on the pitch. Personally i'd prefer him to start along pogba and see them both getting games together.not sure if that will happen though...

I'm a huge fan of his. Thought he was solid last year and would be perfect alongside Poggers

Just about everyone I've spoken to, both in real life and online, very much think he's good enough.

Schneiderlin was suffocated like many other players under van ballbag and should be given the chance to shine, he was great for Southampton and he will come good under the right man im sure.
