And whilst on that note, still not sure what people see in James Rodriguez. Massively overrated imo. Isco is miles better

Not 75 million Euros excellent, but that's not his fault is it? No footballer on earth apart from Ronaldo, Messi, Suarez and maybe Neymar , justifies their price tags. James is a very technically excellent and creatively capable footballer though. As is Isco. If Mourinho does come, sadly Mata's days would be numbered (even though I love him to bits). I think one of these two could be great replacements.

Watching Pjanic again tonight, I think he's brilliant at times. If we're after someone to control and dictate a game he should be one we're looking at, in a higher quality team he could be fantastic. Couldn't agree more if there were multiple like buttons. Stew and I (in particular, but with others) have been on the Pjanic train for years. Genuinely excellent player.

Aye, James is rotten. Remember when people thought he was good for 4 weeks? LOL!
Jese is a much better fit for that Real team.

Would bloody love Zlatan for a season.
(In relation to his comments about a potential move to the PL, in addition to the Mourinho factor)

Zlatan has exactly the type of attitude a Manchester United player should have. I'm fucking better than you.

If we'd have managed to get him 5 years ago but at 35? I guess it would sell a bunch of shirts but the EPL isn't quite the same as strutting around the French league. He is having a great season though

We should buy Kristoffer Ajer. Fucking beast on Football Manager. Also back in the real world he has scored 12 goals in 21 games in the Norwegian Premier League this season, aged 17, from midfield. Also played as captain when aged 16. He's 6"5 too, he'd be like Fellaini but good. I've missed having a solid Scandinavian contingent in the squad. Gone are the days of Schmeichel, Solskjaer, Johnsen, Berg, Blomqvist and Larsson (briefly). We had Lindegaard but he was barely ever in the starting 11. Signing for Celtic on a 4 year contract. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35596888?ns_mchannel=social&ns_campaign=bbc_match_of_the_day&ns_source=facebook&ns_linkname=sport

We'd certainly get a laugh out of Zlatan. Not sure he'd be another Cantona like people keep saying, but he's a character certainly. He lives the gimmick. And he's a winner.
Just heard an Arsenal fan on TalkShite saying he wouldn't have Zlatan there because he has no pace. You know, cos Giroud is a whippet. News flash, Zlatan wouldn't have Arsenal because Zlatan doesn't do auditions.
