Ok sorry , racist may be too strong a word , but didnt casillas agent accuse him of something like that , and come to think of it , i dont remember Real really going after many african based players like they went after say bale or ronnie or even degea , honestly think even the pogba interest was coming from Zidane not perez , and hence the reluctance to throw the world record money around

You really cannot accuse someone of racism based on what your deductions are. It really doesn't work that way.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah insists Jose Mourinho has 'faith' in him and has no complaints about his current situation at Manchester United. Fosu-Mensah, 18, was not named on the United teamsheet for any of their four August fixtures but was included in Mourinho's 26-man senior squad and is expected to feature in a busier September. The Dutchman impressed in the majority of his 10 appearances last season and stressed he has little to complain about at United under his new manager. "It's going well," Fosu-Mensah, who is on international duty with the Under-21s, told Fox Sports Netherlands. "I am fit and do not have much to complain about. "I have not played much, but train with the first-team and do everything with the first-team. I want to fight myself into the base. "I talk to Jose Mourinho about my development, which is going well. Mourinho has faith in me, so he keeps me in the selection." Fosu-Mensah also spoke effusively about training with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a teammate almost twice his age. "It is a dream come true for boys, yes," Fosu-Mensah responded when asked what it was like to train with former Ajax striker Ibrahimovic. "Training with Zlatan is very special and you learn a lot. After [training] you see how he takes free-kicks and how he finishes, then you see what a top player he is. "If you face him, you can also learn a lot from him. You are extra sharp as you train against him and so you don't look ridiculous." www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/manchester-united-news-fosu-mensah-11816690

| FOOTBALL NEWS29/09/2016 23:36, Report by Jordan Davies FOSU-MENSAH FEELING "BETTER AND BETTER" Tim Fosu-Mensah stressed the three points were the most important thing after Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League but he enjoyed getting more minutes under his belt.
The Dutch youngster played his second game of the season following his start at Northampton Town in the EFL Cup, when he hit the bar, and was on the pitch for 74 minutes, crossing in the lead-up to Zlatan Ibrahimovic's winner, as the Reds kept the momentum going following last weekend's win over Leicester City. "It’s important to get the three points," he told MUTV. "We lost in Holland [to Feyenoord] and it was a must-win game for us. "The last game at home against Leicester we did very well. Our attitude was very good and we wanted to maintain that and that’s what we did tonight. "I’m feeling better and better," he added. "As a footballer, you just want to play football. When you play football, you feel happy. I played against Northampton and I played today and I feel happy." The 18-year-old spoke highly of some of his team-mates for helping him to become a better player. "I listen to the players," he explained. "Wazza [Wayne Rooney], Carrers [Michael Carrick], the more senior players like Zlatan. I listen to them a lot and they help me to develop into a better player. I also speak very well with Chris [Smalling], he's a good guy and he helps me a lot as well." Fosu-Mensah also cast his eye forward to the weekend’s clash with Stoke City at Old Trafford by saying: "I think we are in good form, in good shape and we want to keep winning." www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2016/Sep/player-reaction-tim-fosu-mensah-pleased-to-get-more-minutes.as

I'm a huge fan of fosu-mensah,absolutely brilliant that kid.and while i think that he played good in his two games so far,i got a bit frustrated with him aswell.he didnt really sprint back on a couple of occassions when the opposite team was counter attacking and thats something i would expect from a right back. Nothing really serious but he seems to have his attacking play figured out better than his defensive one so far, although his tacklings are pure class

Timothy Fosu-Mensah agrees new Manchester United contract - sources
Manchester United full-back Timothy Fosu-Mensah has agreed a new four-year contract at Old Trafford, sources close to the club have told ESPN FC. Talks over a new deal for Fosu-Mensah, 18, have been ongoing for several weeks -- with reports back in August claiming a deal had been struck. However, sources close to United now say the contract is expected to be finalised after the international break. The Netherlands youth international broke into the United first team last season under Louis van Gaal and quickly made an impression at Old Trafford. Fosu-Mensah made 10 appearances for the Red Devils last season, and although he has made just two appearances in the EFL Cup and Europa League so far this term, he is highly-regarded by Jose Mourinho. Mourinho opted not to send the teenager out on loan this season as he figures in his plans, with Fosu-Mensah currently playing back-up to first-choice right-back Antonio Valencia. Fosu-Mensah's current deal is due to expire next summer, but United were always keen to reward him for his progress with lucrative new terms to secure his long-term future. www.espnfc.us/manchester-united/story/2969405/timothy-fosu-mensah-agrees-new-manchester-united-contract-sources

Timothy Fosu-Mensah has signed a new contract at Manchester United which keeps him at the club until June 2020 with the option to extend for a further year. Fosu-Mensah,18, joined United in 2014. Tim played in the Academy team and also the Under-21s before being handed a first-team debut against Premier League opposition Arsenal last season. He has gone on to make 12 appearances. Timothy Fosu-Mensah said: "I am delighted to have signed a new contract here at Manchester United. I have enjoyed every minute since I joined this great club and I want to continue the progress that I feel I have made so far. I am learning every day from the manager and the coaching staff. I appreciate the trust that the club has in me and I want to repay that with my performances on the pitch." José Mourinho said: "Tim is young player with great potential. I am pleased that he has signed a new contract and I am delighted at the progress he has made so far. It is clear to see that he is learning every day in training and there will be plenty of opportunities for him as the season continues." Now let's just get him in the team...I agree with a number on here that eventually he could be a top DM for us...but in the meantime, I'd just like to see him on the pitch
