You way out there Aus listening or watching the footy and I am sitting here with the wife watching Aussie Rules Football on BTS ESPN HD, Hawthorn v Adelaide Crows. The wife is not happy as she likes Hawthorn and calls them the 'Bumble Bees' and they are losing so far but its half time atm so I told her two more quarters coming up, that made her happy lol. |

Yerp, they will show all this years matches, different teams every week and today its the Hawks v Crows. Her Bumble Bees (Hawthorn) are leading now 71-64 and she is yelling in my fucking ear "COME ON YOU BUMBLE BEES", I keep telling her its the Hawks not fucking Bumble Bees but she wont listen lol.

Where is the Grand Final being held? I take it you mean football, not Aussie Rules as they call Aussie Rules the Grand Final when the last two teams play each other in the finals. If its at the MCG then I have been there many a time when I was in Aussie land watching my Carlton play Melbourne as that was the Demons home ground, also seen the 1968 G/F when Carlton beat Essendon then in 1970 when Carlton beat Collingwood, good memories for an old git like me.
Hawthorn are losing now 72-84, the wife is not yelling..... she is growling lol

The atmosphere at the home ground was electric. The songs were booming on the TV. It's a small stadium with a great atmosphere, hopefully the crowd at the oval can reproduce that. |

The Hawthorn v Crows match was a thriller in the final quarter. Hawthorn were losing by 10 points with around 1 minute + 30 seconds left before the final hooter and they snatched a win with 18 seconds to go and hung on, Hawthorn (17-10) 112, Crows (17-7) 107. The wife was happy then and went back into the dining room and back on her laptop, I had peace without her yelling in my bloody ear with every kick of the ball or a mark by a Hawthorn player.

Oh boy whoever wins the other semi is not going to have a good time, i think adelaide have this in the bag now, congrats to them
City on the other hand need to sack JVS, absolutely rubbish showing in the semi, and with the amount of money they've put into that squad also there is no way they shouldn't have won, they have the two best players in the league, no way they shouldn't be at least in the final (goes to show that a good philosophy can beat talent)
