There was an interview with one of the best scouts here in Norway Stig Thorbjoernsen. He seen him several times when he was at Espanyol and Villarreal. What I can say is that he is as good as Mourinho claim. Bailly is complete. He has raw physics, is good in the air and good with the ball. He has no weaknesses. Eliaquim Mangala cost about the same when Manchester City brought him from Porto in 2014. The Co-operation so far has not been a symbiosis. Torbjørnsen believes Bailly is located in a completely different class than the rival in Manchester city. - Mangala was also expensive and so far has not defended price tag. Bailly is much better: he is a light years ahead better. The potential is huge. He have the possibility to be the best in the world. If it happens, remains to be seen, says Torbjørnsen. - Similar Bailly on some world stars in the style of play? - I am a Liverpool fan and Mamadou Sakho is a bit of a similar type, but Bailly is ten times better than Sakho. I'm sorry, what? Edit, just saw above post! Had to read that twice myself as well

yeah, definitely, welcome. First premier league game played and he was a beast. He will allow Smalling to play the calmer Rio-like role in central defense. Bailly was fearless and powerful today. Fantastic signing.

He's a really good passer of the ball too but I like the fact he has no problem putting into row Z if needs be.

He's the complete package. No doubt there'll be a mistake or 2 along the way but he's going to become some player for us.

On the evidence of today, I'd say our bastard level has begun to trend in the right direction.

Baillynator.....So far the summer moves for players have proven to be on the mark. Bailly has been very impressive, Zlatan looks fantastic in our kit and proves he is the real deal both matches so far. Hopefully Micki gets match time to show what he can bring, but he is quality....and to top off the list, Paul Pogba getting ready to show the world that he is he returning son....Mou 2-0 as the Gaffer, and no more phylosophy bullshit keeping the boys down...pinch me, Am I dreaming.

The fact that even these two utter mongoloids couldn't stop raving about Bailly speaks volumes.

Not to put too much pressure on the kid, but early signs would suggest that he's the first success of an experiment to splice the DNA of Rio and Vidic

From the two games I've seen him, he's better on the ball than Smalling. His range of passing is superior and his touch is better. Him and smalling together though is going to be immense. Both very athletic and good in the air! Definitely going to be a nomination for Player of the Year at the club. Could be the signing of the transfer market
