Does anyone in UK or Europe feel “Brexity” today, given that UK are off at 11:00pm tonight ? I feel a bit “meh” about it to be fair, although I’ve felt a bit “meh” all week, with one thing or another! I’m just glad it’s all over. Happy to be leaving though.

It's not really over, this next year is going to be chaotic when we start talking trade. I don't like this triumphalist attitude that our MEPs in Brussels demonstrated the other day. Why weren't they waving those flags at the Tories and Labour MEPs who done everything to block it? I can confirm that mass panic has not set in here in the N Ireland just yet, this bullet proof vest seems like a bad investment.

When was the last trade deal you saw negotiated in public? Brexit's done. Let's all move on.

This one will be, the transititon period is 12 months, if it's not hammered out before then, there won't be any extension and alot of businesses will be in the shit because Boris made illegal to extend the transition period.

I forgot it was yesterday, I thought it was at the end of March. I'm still alive and I can't hear any air raid sirens and people telling me to stay indoors so I think we're ok.

Yeah yeah. Doom doom doom. It's done, we're out. We'll do a trade deal because it's beneficial to everybody.

A trade deal will be agreed at some point but I'm almost certain that those who voted for Brexit won't get the cake they were promised.

Not pointing at anyone on here but I have been reading remainers saying about how we'll not get a deal with anyone now and no one will trade with us - like the EU is suddenly going to stop trading with its former 3rd/4th largest ecomomy.

Well actually if you read the remainers posts we were saying pre referendum that we would never get a deal in two years and that the EU were under no obligation to play nice despite the leave campaigns narrative that they would be "begging us for a deal".

I didnt read all the posts as it would be impossible. Again, the EU isn't simply going to ignore us as like i said until yesterday we were the 3rd / 4th biggest economy in the EU.

You should (seriously) look at Twitter, which has been at its venal, nasty and patronising worst since last night, with people piling in, and ridiculing Union Jack waving leavers, filmed for BBC News last night. Horrible. The people who voted to remain just cannot get over the fact that they lost the referendum, and now, absolutely NO further argument can ,or should, be made re same. WE LEFT LAST NIGHT, and will ,doubtless, negotiate a decent trade deal with EU going forward, but 11 months may be a stretch!
