There seems to be a strong touch of the Evras about Eric. There is no higher praise. I was trying to figure out why I liked him so much (apart from him being a badass defender). I think you just nailed it.

I expect Ibra's pathetic post something like "Lion is back" when he rejoins United again Pathetic? I would rather see posts or videos of Ibra than seeing Lingard doing his silly dancing routines.

Mee too. I don't mind Ibra's pathos. He is the only player whose posts are funny to read. Oh, fuck. I've done a mistake. I meant "pathos". Damn dictionary.

Never mind buddy, we can all make mistakes and keep the posts going, it's nice to see a new member post regular and not just one or two posts when first joining.

Can't decide if hiring Moyes was more naivity or arrogance by our board. It's like that bloke you snogged (in my case) when you were pissed that you want to deny ever happened afterwards. Hmmm Is that the same thing as waking up next to someone and chewing your arm off at the elbow to avoid waking them by sliding it out from under the pillow?? Memories, ah memories. Fortunately my embarrassment never got that far!

It will be interesting to see how Jose incorporates Ibra into the squad. Will he play with Lukaku or come off the bench as an impact sub and start the odd game or two? Adding him to an already deep and balanced squad should scare our rivals.

Lukaku is making the runs off the ball to open up the space for Mata and Mkhitaryan to operate in. I would hate to see United go back to that same slow and predictable build up due to a limited Ibrahimovic. Hopefully the time off will allow Ibrahimovic to regain his ability to run into open spaces.

Some games we will need to add a little firepower if we are struggling to break down a defence. He will be a major boost especially if we are challenging on all fronts by the time he is ready

Fortunately my embarrassment never got that far! Blame it on the Tuba (coconut white lightening) never been that hosed up before, or since. I can't even smell Cider without feeling sick. Got pissed as a fart on Merrydown when I was 14. Novelty of getting rat arsed stopped by the time I could legally drink. The room spinning thing is so over rated....no thanks.

Aye, I quit in 1984, when 4 Star Admiral (was on staff as part of a CAT/Training crew) told me I was a hell of a sailor but if I got drunk and busted up anything again he would personally shut the cell door on me in Portsmouth Naval prison.
Cured hell out of me. (good thing too) I can't drink one and stop, one of those deals

ZLATAN TO WEAR NO.10 SHIRT
Manchester United is delighted to announce that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will continue his journey with the club and has signed a one-year contract. He will wear the number 10 shirt. Ibrahimović, 35, made 46 appearances and scored 28 goals for the club during the 2016/17 campaign before suffering a knee injury, which ended his season prematurely. Zlatan has won championships in four different leagues since beginning his professional career with Malmo in 1999. Jose Mourinho said: "We are delighted Zlatan is on the road to recovery and we are equally delighted to have his ambition and experience back with us. After his contribution last season he deserves our trust and we will be patient waiting for him to return. I have no doubt that he will be important in the second part of the season." Zlatan Ibrahimovic said: "I am back to finish what I started. It was always mine and the club's intention for me to stay. I cannot wait to get back out on that Old Trafford pitch, but I also know that I have to take my time to make sure that I am ready. I have been working hard and will continue to do so to make sure I am in the best possible condition for my return to the pitch." www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2017/Aug/zlatan-ibrahimovic-to-wear-the-number-10-shirt-for-manchester-as-he-signs-new-deal.aspx
