The Paralympics swimming starts tomorrow. Seeing how excited my boy is to watch it really makes me happy and proud. He became interested in swimming after seeing the para-athletes at the Commonwealth games a couple of years ago, and he's really thrown himself into it since then. Hopefully he'll be able to compete himself one day.

The Paralympics swimming starts tomorrow. Seeing how excited my boy is to watch it really makes me happy and proud. He became interested in swimming after seeing the para-athletes at the Commonwealth games a couple of years ago, and he's really thrown himself into it since then. Hopefully he'll be able to compete himself one day. Great news that Monty is he recovering well from the accident a few years ago? I know that accident knocked you for six at the time but the main thing is you still have the wee nippers around. |

I know that accident knocked you for six at the time but the main thing is you still have the wee nippers around. Yeah, he's good. He'll never have full use of his right arm, but he's otherwise okay. Learning to rely on his left hand for everything has been tough, learning to write left handed in particular was a struggle, but it could have been so much worse. |

Aye, it could have been much worse but thank the almighty it wasn't, what's he thinking about maybe doing in the para-athletes if he is going to do that, sports wise.
