I get why people hate it but its just a game, so people who don't like it can simply choose to ignore.
I don't get this "I don't like it, so nobody should"

It's been fun but tedious. I live near the sea and rarely catch much water pokemon, but jesus I have so many ratattas weedles and pidgeys. I learned to just evolve them all regardless of how good they are (and thus have about 15 raticates) and my xp goes up fast. I'm now level 12. When I go into the city I challenge gyms etc. Only problem I have is I only live near 1 pokestop so I run out of balls a lot.
It was down all day today which was a shame as I did a 5 mile walk today so I could have hatched some eggs...doh

I'm trying to decide if a Jigglypuff or a Pikachu would be the right monster to unleash on Stewart when he shows up here. Any recommendations?

Started with a Charmander. Caught a Squirtle in McDonalds on Friday as well, and have a few other Pokemon.
Absolutely nothing at home so I can't play at night or on weekends. However, on my walk to work there's 10 PokeStops and my walk to lunch has another ten, so including there and back in both ways that's 40 Pokestops a day. After 1 day I had over 200 Pokeballs.
Enjoying it right now, don't know if I'll still be playing in a few weeks.
Also, its very annoying that the pedometer doesn't work when the app isn't open.

Well I feel like a fucking idiot.
Been playing it every now and again for about a week and passed so many pokestops, I didn't realise what they actually did because id click on them and nothing would happen so I've just exited and focused on catching fucking weedles.
Just had it explained to me that you need to actually spin it and you get bare shit out of them like eggs and xp?
So many wasted items!
I was starting to think it was too hard and thinking it wasnt that good but I'm going to smash it now 😁
