My team shit the bed this week. The Friday kickoff for Liverpool - Chelsea caught me by surprise and i didn't make my weekly sub. So I had Martial starting again, alongside a bunch of terrible defenders.

It's interesting that if you sort for Midfielders, there isn't a Man Utd player anywhere on the entire first page. That's 30 midfielders. Martial shows up at #36. Think about that for a moment.

as its my first FPL season i`m still trying to understand and learn all the rules/possibilities etc on the game.
wanted to play my wildcard but it says "To activate your wildcard you must be making enough proposed transfers that points will be deducted."
so what exactly?

You get a maximum of one transfer per GW, after that it's -4/transfer, unless you play your wildcard, in which case you can make an unlimited number within your financial means.
The -4 is hardly ever worth it, though and you get another wildcard in January.

Tempted to enter a team if allowed as a newbie, can somebody please let me know(roughly if need be) how many points the top placed Manager, and bottom placed Manager have got so far, up to and including gameweek 9, thanks in advance.

Wow a really close one. Snatched the first place by 2 points in the last round.
Made a major fuck up with the wildcard in R 35, didn't know that you can't use a wildcard and a chip in the same round. It cost me a lot of points.
Congrats to everyone, was an interesting season.
