The cycling was a really good watch. Felt for the Polish fella a bit, looked like he had it in the bag until the last couple of Km. Also for anyone with sky, there's no need to actually press the red button, all the red button channels are on sky channels 472-487.

Anyone else uncomfortable re Lizzie Armistead in the cycling road race later? Jesus, 3 tests missed, if that was a Russian athlete we'd be baying for blood!

Just hearing about the leg break. I believe it was horrific. Similar to David Busst at OT. I don't wanna see that. Really squeamish with that stuff.

Latest reports, most all the venues and almost empty...what a shame that this Olympics has become a tv experience and not live memories at the events. I imagine that if the Miracle on Ice had no fans, the US would never had won. It was the unbelievable energy at the rink that drove the team to glory.
