Because it's too close to call i'm more interested in what people think will be a poor season. Think most would have us in top 3 so if we finished 4th are people pissed? I'd say automatic CL places is a must, so 3rd place we should be angry. We should also make it to a final in a cup run, if not retain the FA Cup.

Jose said that he likes to be aggressive in his expectations and says we should want to win everything. So I'll follow suit and say anything less than a strong title challenge will be disappointing for me.

I'd be disappointed with 4th unless we won the Europa. Minimum demands should be automatic CL qualification considering the money spent and the position the other big teams are in. Really, I expect first though. If I'm going to put up with Jose's toxic shite (which he may stop doing, in which case I'll re-evaluate, but right now I don't think he will stop) then I want big trophies.

Anything but sustained title challenge and long runs in the Cups that matter (FA & UEFA), League Cup can take or leave but Jose seems to like it, is failure.

Melt.LOL Well Conte to a degree and Preppy Guardiola especially have never worked in a competitive league either. I think both are over hyped and will struggle in their first year at least

This is what i think 1. United (smalling-bailley hitting the ground running will be key, nd dropping rooney) 2. Spurs (very good all round squad and manager , why not , will only improve) 3. City (not so sure how pep's possession based game will click in prem league , but city's squad has enough quality) 4. Arsenal (well they are arsenal !) conte is a gr8 coach , but his teams are built on rock solid defense , not sure how ageing terry and ivanavic is going to give hum that , and too much reilence on hazard in attack , so am putting rents at 5 Everton under Koeman at 6 scousers at 7 !

Jose typically manages to get new teams to gel quickly, which could be the key for our potential title challenge. Honestly, if he can grind results for a month or two till he can manage to get us to where he'd like then so be it. I think a lot will depend on whether or not he lets Miki and Mata play behind the striker instead of Rooney (Zlatan will be our 1st choice striker and he will be wasted in our team if Rooney is the one to be play behind him), and by how well our main CB partnership will develop to be. For me our most exciting player is still Martial - the kid is as talented as you can be and I really hope that he can build on last season.
Spurs will not finish nearly as high this season as they did last year, they seized a rare opportunity to finish in the top 4 because ourselves and Chelsea were in a shitstorm. Leicester are going to be irrelevant, and Liverpool could be deadly if Klopp's signings work.
My prediction: 1st - United (if by October Jose drops Rooney and plays our actual strongest team - if not then I doubt we'll win it). 2nd - Chelsea (Conte's team will be a huge pain in the ass to play against). 3rd - Liverpool 4th - City (I'm going with them losing it vs midtable teams). 5th - Arsenal (Arsene's last season in charge) 6th - Spurs .. .. 10th - Leicester .. .. 18th - WBA 19th - Sunderland (fuck off Moyes) 20th - Hull

I'll be happy with a Top 4 finish...Chelsea and Liverpool have 1 game a week and that's so huge come Jan- March.

I believe in our Gaffer, it's 1st or bust. I think it's a dog fight for the top spot, with UTD winning it and Spurs-City slugging it out for 2nd.
