Last year i found that lovely vegetarian restaurant in edinburgh.i think it was on st patrick square and called "kalpna".apparently been there for two decades or so. Went there to eat 3 days in a row.bit pricy but the food was phenomenal.my girl made fun of me cause i was close to tears because of all the tastes and the quality of the food. Would love to try some of their stuff at home

I love to cook as well, find it really relaxing and great for relieving stress. Actually started cooking about 5/6 years ago as an aid to losing weight. I was a right fucking load so dumped all the processed shit and starting cooking from fresh all the time and never looked back, lost 7 1/2 stone in the process.
I'm a bit of a chilli nut. Don't cook a lot of food that doesn't have a bit of spice to it, why I love eating and cooking Asian food so much.

I have not had Rump Steak for ages yet on Sunday our son called in for a wee visit and the beauty of it is he is a manager in a small supermarket and he bought me two Beef Rump Steaks, the wife is not keen on Rump Steaks so they were all mine lol. Now Liz is a great cook and put one of the Beef Rump Steaks on the go Monday night and I had good old homemade chips and two large fried free range eggs with it, she did the Steak well done as she knows I love it like that, I smothered it in brown barbeque sauce and vinegar and it went down a treat.
She will do her magic bit with the next Beef Rump Steak in the freezer with cauliflower & cheese sauce, mushrooms, roast tatties and a few herbs & spices & Yorkie pudd's either Friday night or Saturday night, looking forward to that.

In fairness I was probably the same when I was younger. Then again, due to my Mother I thought everything I ate should be tasteless and chewy, so didn't see anything unusual. She's the classic "Cook the life out of everything." Mother. Don't eat a lot of rump tbh. Rib-eye all the way for me! And speaking of blood, black pudding is one of the greatest things on the planet.
