Just wondering if anyone here suffers from the above or knows of anyone with it? If so, what, if any, are the treatments being used?

puhh...dont know what to suggest. i`ve been studying some medicine and things like that. never really encountered one of the above mentioned i guess. what i remember about the chronic fatigue syndrome is that it is often combined with people who suffer from multiple sclerosis or cancer.
what is really difficult is to separate chronic fatigue syndrome from a burnout or depression. been suffering myself from depressions and had a burnout last year. chronic fatigue syndrome is similar to burnout or depression in its complaints but in the end also completely different, as mentioned above often combined to other diseases. so to make sure what it is, you`ll have to visit a doctor.

I'm sick of doctors at this stage. Been suffering with it since 1995. Was originally diagnosed with depression. When anti depressants didn't get rid of exhaustion, then I was told that I couldn't expect medicine to work unless I had faith in it. At this point, i asked that doctor if he was a medical practitioner or a witch doctor. Am really bad since just before xmas. I've gone to a fatigue specialist in a last ditch attempt to remedy it. He suggested depression as well. Put me on anti-depressants that were supposedly good for energy. Had 10 glorious days fatigue free in November ( first time in 20 years) but it started creeping back. Dr increased dosage , things got worse. He increased again, things got much worse to where they are now. Dr took me off antidepressants altogether but symptoms haven't improved. I'm now on stuff called LND which is used in higher doses as a cancer drug and also as a type of methadone. Its fooking horrible to be honest. I'm ion pain as I'm typing this. just to top it all off, my missus was told today that she could have early signs of either arthritis or fibromyalgia. Cannabis oil I heard is good for it but that only became medically legal here last month and you have to jump through hoops to get it. You also need to be diagnosed with a recognised condition, which none of the above are ( in Ireland )
