After Rustin's disappointment, I asked my girlfriend about pineapple pizza. She was really surprised and said something along the lines of "Why? Gross."
Hawaiian pizza is doesn't seem to be trendy in Brazil. We put weird stuff in our pizzas, we have sweet ones as a dessert but it seems to be a general consensus not to put fruits with cheese. Certainly not a popular topping.
