Jones is no way near inteligent enough to play a dm role for me, brilliant option to have at cb alongside bailey tho Because CBs don't require intelligence ?? Off course they do but to be playing that role of a dm you need to have a littlr bit more about u in my opinion, i just dont think hes off the required standerd to ever be considerd to play in that position, Also when i think of a inteligent defender i think off a rio type player who rarely went to ground ect, thats not jones. I think hes a good cb jones and paired with the right player can be realy good, but dm nope |

When Jones first came here I thought that he could be a great box to box midfielder. Less so now sadly.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet but I thought Jones was doing superbly in his midfield role before the Herrera sending off. I don't think he's good enough on the ball to play there permanently but he's certainly a viable option to do a "job" in there when needed, didn't give Hazard a moment's peace early on. I think that United has a potential beast of a DM in Tim FM, is a very good passer, and I don't see anyone running through him. I'd really like to see him getting games there |
