There are a lot of posts in the General Chit Chat Forum about the terrorist activities around the world that are really throwing the General Chit Chat forum off topic, Monty mentioned a while back in the Chit Chat Forum that maybe another thread should be made where we can all talk about the world news in general which can include musical greats that have passed away or any major sports topics etc, maybe posting in this thread might be a good idea? As we all know the major news at the moment is the idiots that cause mayhem around the world for what they believe in, let's all post in here if you want, just a thought.

US backed SDF (Syrian Democratic forces) have launched a battle to recapture Raqqa from ISIS. If this goes the same way as it usual does then SDF will be the next terrorist organisation.
Or maybe it'll be better.

Or maybe it'll be better. It'll be better if the people backing them actually carry it through and then don't back out of any promises made.

ISIS attacked Iran's parliament today. At least seven dead I find a bit worrying they're reaching the Philippines as well.

From what i was reading today the U.S backed forces are about to fuck them up. Them will remain as a terrorist cell even after the 'state' is gone though. Not sure if that's better or worse.

I've said this many, many times on here that this has been part of the problem but there's a bit of optimism in me that says it has to get better. Maybe this will be the time it works. You'd think by now they'd have learned something from orevious experiences but it could also be political. Get rid of Isis during your time in office and don't worry about what comes after.

I am waiting for amazon to deliver what is seems to be a promising book about the rise of terror, from al-Qaeda to ISIS. To this day I find the rise of ISIS a hard one to understand given groups such as al-Nusra have closer ties with west Syria for example and how Iraqi sunis had little sympathy for al-Zarqawi.

Were they all caught? (You know, the ones that didn't killed themselves)

I look forward to your summary on it.
