Some of these are breath-taking. Beckham in particular. Easily the best I've ever seen. It was a surprise when he didn't score.

Beckham 1:07 Mata 1:50 Ronaldo 2:29 Beckham 2:45 Fuck it, this would be too long a post! Great vid Stew. Becks in particular, and Ronaldo... how we've missed those kind of free kicks. Irwin is in with a shout of the best one, but Becks hitting the bar with 2 would win it for me, they always look better.

Great find. Ronaldo's always looked more spectacular because of the way he struck the ball but Beckham is head and shoulders above for me. Still the best striker of a dead ball I've seen.
That video also shows that Mata should be taking a lot more of our free-kicks and that we don't score enough of them now.

I think Becks one at home vs Barcelona is the best free kick I've ever seen.

I think Becks one at home vs Barcelona is the best free kick I've ever seen. Thought Giggs vs Blackburn was better. Ronaldo vs Portsmouth though. Was behind the goal, pretty much in line with it. Stunning.

They are all pretty bloody good...one thing...the sheer velocity of the Ronaldo one against Arsenal...I don't think I've seen to many struck harder than that...it was miles out too...

Great vid. That second Ronaldo one against Portsmouth is probably the hardest I've ever seen a free kick hit. As much as it pains me to say it the Rooney one against Stoke was something special as well. Right I'm off to have a cold shower.

Seba chipping in with a few beauties too. Had a chuckle when Pat tried lifting Rooney up after he scored but collapsed under the weight...
