Sounds like this was a better game than the Galaxy one at least. What did Valencia do to get that red?

Hacked a guy down for seemingly no reason this Guardian account suggests that Valencia hacked down the guy who made a bad foul on Mata, which maybe then qualified as 'retaliation'. I hope he did! You don't fuck with Mata! www.theguardian.com/football/2017/jul/18/romelu-lukaku-on-target-as-10-man-manchester-united-down-real-salt-lake United’s right-back clattered through the back of Saucedo and after a word with José Mourinho, the referee, Allen Chapman, showed Valencia, who was captaining United’s second half side, the red card.
Mourinho, as might be expected, was not particularly impressed. Earlier, the manager aimed the same emotion directly at Saucedo after his challenge on Juan Mata forced the Spaniard off.

It could have been, in which case I'm on board. I suppose I lost track of who was who on RSL as they rotated out most of their line up every 30 minutes. Also, that second half was pretty boring so I may have not been paying the closest attention.

2 well taken goals by us, glad Lukaku got off the mark early. It was pretty painful to watch on the whole though, probably a combination of location, the fact it's just our 2nd game of pre season and we played just 2 days ago. They were also much better than L.A Galaxy, or at least it seemed that way.

Aye, I thought so too, moved the ball better and they had some serious pace up front, guy blew by Jones for that goal they did get. There were some good moments though, long as you could stay awake and not miss them Early yet, but I am liking a lot of what I see. Have been impressed with Miki, an watching him walk off, no doubt he has put on about 15-20 lbs of muscle, not gonna get shoved around like he did last season so often. Got a bit of rest between now an Citeh match, would like to see us really drub those turds.

HE got a red card. Jesus Christ, this ref It was a stupid tackle tbf. Think it was a payback for that fookers hit on our Juan , looks like some of that old "United vs the rest of the world" attitude getting front and center. This is a group that really likes playing together, saw it last year, and seeing more of it this year. Rasher looks 20lbs of muscle bigger just like Miki, that kind of gym time during the "holiday" speaks of great focus on what they want to accomplish.

Who on earth gets a red card in a pre-season friendly with such a stupid tackle?
