A very good 45 minutes workout against a very good albeit lacking in match practice Real Madrid side. That run from Martial though, sublime.

Good first half. Pereira did a great job as the #10. There was a moment around 33rd minute when he held off 1 RM player, then 4 surround him, and he dribbled through all 4 and got away. He looks stronger and more physically able to mix it up, so good luck to him.
Jones looked good. Lingard and Martial looked good too. We were the better side this half, maybe only just, but still gave a good accounting of ourselves.
