1st half was a bit dull but I rather enjoyed that 2nd half. All the young lads equipped themselves really well. Pleasantly surprised with McTominay again, he may be a contender after all! Never really rated him in the Academy but I'm genuinely impressed. Think we'll see him quite often this season. Same, I said after the last game of the season that he wasn't good enough to make it here after what I'd seen from him in the youth teams. Credit to him for taking his chance with the first team, clearly the step up has kicked him on. He suits Mourinho as well, he's a big lad and very good on the ball. Keep it up and he may be here for a while.

McTominay looks like a reject from The only way is Essex. Done well though so far, hope he kicks on.

Fucking hell, what a player Pogba is.
Surely the closest we'll get in the next 10 years to a 5th Ballon D'Or winner.
Still buzzing about his return, him and Herrera could conceivably form a dominant force for a prolonged period of time and with Matic sitting deep it can only start getting much more groovy going forward.
Feeling positive about the season ahead.
As for the transfer fees etc, I've long since reached a point when I realized I'll not be a millionaire. Therefore most of these figures are utter abstractions used purely by fans to castigate each other. In a sense we've got a bit of a buffer in that the revenue is largely self-generated, so it's generally easier to let it roll off the back. As that's never been the primary reason I watch football, though, it's bothering me less and less. I want to watch United playing great football, win or lose ideally but preferably winning trophies, whilst seeing a good spread of academy graduates in the side.
The latter aspect is still largely intact and I'm confident we'll see a lot more goals this season. Zlatan was great, but he tended to be great on his own.
People often talk about football moving in cycles and I know this is RAWK-esque, but we might well be on the cusp of a new Red-tinted one.

You have to be a scouser or an ABU to not see that.

Pogba just oozes class. I wanted Ander as captain after Carrick goes, but if Pogba gets it next season it'll be well deserved IMO.

Wide left field choice, but I'd like Rojo to be considered as well. The man just leads by example in defense and I think it could translate in general to his overall game.

He does seem to provide a bit of calming assurance to whoever is playing alongside him. Made McNair look not awful in a few games.

Made McNair look not awful in a few games. if rojo returns back to the way he played before his injury as a centre back,he'll give bailly, lindelöf and all the others a good run for a starting 11 spot. we've clearly sorted our centre back problems it seems with 6-7 guys who can play there and especially bailly/lindelöf/rojo and jones (if fit) who are all good in their positions.tuanzebe aswell a good prospect and i'll leave smalling out of the discussion because for me he seems the weakest from all the lads.
