The sense of entitlement was always there with them. The Sheikhs just validated it .

Pep is at 450 million pounds spent in the past 19 months, and if they get Mahrez it will be well over half a billion pounds.
But Sánchez etc.

I don't know a single Bertie who is embarrassed or ashamed of it. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Most of them are fucking smug cunts with it. Almost dismissive, as though it's their divine right. Piss on em, they will be sitting watching from home when United is winning trophies

This is amazing , they've been quoted 90 million pounds for Mahrez and those lemons are actually looking like agreeing to it.
I will die from the luls.

If they do a deal anything like that then they have essentially set fire to their contrite, wishy washy arguments over the past three weeks. Not that the media will buy into that of course, it will just be good old Pep doing what an actual deity does in these situations.

Di Marzio reporting that Roma want Blind. Wouldn't be a bad move if we could get a decent fee for him. They can have him and Fellaini in a swap for Strootman Seriously though he has been superb since he came back from injuries! He's still only 27 and probably the best value holding mid in Europe Unlikely but just putting it out there

Mentions of the Stroot will always be welcome on here.

Anyway it looks like our new Jan MF signing will be Fellaini.. Which is bollocks no matter what you think the pros of Fellaini are he is not a good MF player. He's basically a plan B battering ram and a menace in the box and an extra body defender for Mourinho

Without fuelling the City hype etc. I really don't see Mahrez as a 70-90M pound player and also is this not an overreaction to having a player injured for 6 weeks. I'd hate to see what happens if De Bruyne got injured, would they put in a 1BN pound bid for Messi?

We missed Pogba for 3 months with injury and suspension and had no backup striker, or real back up for Matic plus some serious disruption in defence. Shaw, Bailly, Rojo, Jones have all had stretches out or coming back to the team , together.
They have been better than us in the first half with a better squad, but fine margins. If we had had those options and beaten them at OT and just beaten Huddesrfield there would be only 3 points in it now and the whole narrative would be completely different. At the end of the season it will be fascinating to see how the second half plays out because we are definitely a much stronger team now with players back and Sanchez.
Still would have liked an extra man in MF this month and it would have been a great window

Amid all the exit rumours of Luke Shaw and Matteo Darmian, there’s one man everyone at Manchester United, including José Mourinho, has forgotten about, and that’s Daley Blind. The Dutch defender has been very quiet throughout this transfer window, barely playing, and linked with few to no clubs, until Wednesday January 30th. Late last night, a spate of articles appeared suggesting the 27-year-old had been offered to Roma, a club keen to bolster their defence following the €29m sale of Emerson Palmieri to Chelsea. Monchi had been after Matteo Darmian for most of the window, but the player’s versatility means he’ll most likely stay at Old Trafford until the end of the current campaign. However, for Blind, whose contract runs out next summer, time appears to be up, although a transfer to Roma appears to be difficult. Both Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Tempo explain getting a deal over the line for the Dutch international will be difficult before the transfer window shuts, with the former of the two describing it as a ‘blurred affair’, despite the player having already said ‘yes’ to a move. Corriere dello Sport have the most detail on it on Wednesday, explaining the two sides are working on a loan deal with a view to buy, although how much for isn’t mentioned. It’s going to be tight, but Monchi tends to make this kind of stuff happen. This could very well be Blind’s last day as a Manchester United player. With the Dutchman’s current club wanting it, Roma wanting it, and Blind himself being keen, there’s an outline agreement for the move, it’s just the details that need sorting. sportwitness.co.uk/man-united-exit-blurred-affair-clubs-working-loan-deal-player-already-said-yes/
