I'd rather sell Darmian than Blind, but both should go. The article mentions Darmians versatility? right oh, anyone see him getting skinned by a league two winger on several occasions. Blind's versatilty is underused this season IMO. Good luck to both though Yeah agree he can also do a job as CDM if really needed. Darmian should have been offered to Serie A in one massive group text.

Also, seems like Ozil has signed a new deal. As I said in that other thread , annoying news if true. We should have tried to snag him too.

It’d be mental to let Blind go now. Lots of football coming up and as someone else said, hes better than Darmian. I think Blind is technically an excellent footballer, very versatile and very smart in his positioning as well as deceptively tough in the tackle. His main problem is his pace and it's a bigger problem in the PL. We should keep him and let him go in the summer

Ozil was always more of a luxury player once we brought Sanchez in, we need to address other areas in the squad.

1.02pm: The Manchester Evening News claims Manchester United have been given the green light to complete a deal for Man City target Fred. The Brazilian midfielder is valued at around £35million by Shakhtar Donetsk.
mmmm I don't know much about Fred, but we certainly need a player in that position.

Castles apparently said that Fred rejected an approach from United in favour of a move to city. Maybe a move that they'll make in the summer since they're about to smash their transfer record on Mahrez.

What makes this Mahrez stuff even more baffling is the fact that they've had a similar player to him sat on the bench all season, who they paid £40m+ for in the summer, yet are still pushing to spend £60m+ to cover someone who's out for 6 weeks.
I do wonder if there is something deeper behind all this, been plenty of talk about FFP 2.0 and being a big factor.

Hope Leicester keep hold of him tbh - if Coutinho is worth what he went for, 65m is pittance.
