Not done a thread for ages so you can blame me if it goes tits up.
I certainly don't want to get knocked out. We need some confidence back here.

No way must we be playing the first teamers here. Fuck this trophy we won it last year I am in no mood to repeat. Far more important games to look out for.

Would have been nice to play Fosu-Mensah and Pereira in this one, but as few players from the last 3 games as possible would be my ideal line-up. The squad is so fucking thin at the moment though, even the reserves.
I'd like to see players like McTominay, Tuanzebe and Mitchell. Perhaps even Gomes. I'd imagine Romero will get a shot in goal too.
Sadly I think we'll just see a barely rotated squad similar largely composed of the team we saw against Huddersfield.

And also not ready for first team football at all. Darmian gets a game... At left back. He's a right back. Mitchell should get a run at LB if we're going with makeshift until January. At least he's a 'proper' converted left back.

I was thinking more a sub appearance but yes, Gomes isn't exactly ready for the first team. I'm just still so fucked off with that shameful display against Huddersfield and there's not a whole load of squad depth at the moment.

Some big games coming up, which means we must rest Matic for this one (he seemed exhausted on Saturday). I’d play blind at midfield and start Shaw at LB and Darmian at RB.
Who could’ve imagined that we’ll really miss Fellaini? With such a thin squad we need to really play conservatively over the next few weeks..

Romero Darmian Tuanzebe Lindelof Shaw Blind Mctominay Herrera Lingard Martial Mitchell Get Boonen and Wilson on the bench as well. I know it looks weak but we don't really have many options at the minute. Absolutely certain that the likes of Matic, Rashford, Lukaku and Valencia should be resting for Spurs though.
I also think it's too early to be completely writing Lindelof off at this moment in time, so get him straight back in with a chance to redeem himself.

We dont need to see Matic or Tony V anywhere near Wales. Given the injuries we probably can’t play as many reserves as we’d like (as most of them have to start at the moment) so who knows what sort of team goes out. It wouldn’t kill him to involve Wilson, who was fit last time I checked. Lukaku might need a break too, given the games we have coming up.
Who knows?

Yeh, play Lindelof. Forget this idea he isn’t ready for English football. He’s a regular international CB. He’s just going through a funk. Let him play his way out of it on Tuesday.
