Don't want to say I'm surprised by how fast Pogba found his groove again, but his return went about as well as it possibly could've. The difference he makes is astounding really.
Thought we played pretty well once we got to grips with them. Probably should've had more goals really. Nice to see the front three everyone's been crying out for didn't disappoint.
Really chuffed to see Zlatan back too. The dedication and hunger he's shown at his age to recover from that in 7 months is remarkable. Lions and humans and all that.

Something that I don't recall being mentioned BUT...
When Martial was subbed off for Ibra - He smiled. Martial SMILED....

Parked on page 4 here as I write this, having recorded the match and watched it later. Ahhh the joy of not having to search for rivers anymore. Anyway, I'm sure you're all going to say the same things so let's see how much synchronicity we can drum up.
Having Pogba back makes us a whole new team. Newcastle weren't great but Pogba practically *danced* around midfield, he's a joy to watch. I think Matic is the perfect partner to Pogba, together they can do anything. Mata seems like a better player with Pogba too, maybe it's the approach or the way we are set out to play when he's on with Pogba, but they seem to try more difficult/eye-watering balls.
Lindelof slipped, oh well. Beyond the slip I thought he looked like a real player and not a fan who won a contest as previously.
Looks like Mike is back, and on the score sheet too!
Welcome back Zlatan. Had the feel of a testimonial for him until that volley, and oh would that have been an absolute cracker had it gone in!
Glad to see Lukaku remember how to score but I wonder if blasting it into the roof as he did was really the easiest way to score in that situation. Who cares in the end, it went in.
When Fellaini came on we just fell apart and seemed to have almost no interest in getting forward. Thank you for your hard work, for the crucial goals you scored, and for making it through some awful fan abuse, but now it is time for you to go Marouane.

Pogba's worth to us is far greater than de bruyne for city. whilst they would miss him and likely score a goal less they will still function smoothly for me.

Sorry guys, not been on for a while.
Great result yesterday after that dodgy start. First goal from open play conceded since last year. Can't complain too much can you.
Looked very good once we finally scored and fully deserved scoreline. Great to see Pogba back and playing well. Glad Lukaku finally scored, but it's another pointless goal since it was the 4th. Not knocking him, but my point is that he needs to start showing up in those games when only one will be enough. Then again, we need to create more for him in those games as well.
Amazing that Zlatan has come back so soon. Probably 8 weeks earlier than expected. Unreal. Miki dropped, the trio we all want starting, starts and we score 4. Shame only Spurs dropped points around us as it would have been a much better day.
Tougher games to come but glad to see us back on track.

The gulf in class between him and Rashford is beginning to show now Don't think there's much of a gulf in class between them at all to be honest. Both on a very similar level. Still think Rashford's all round game is better, Martial has a cooler head in front of goal.

Still think Martial is the better player though.

Watched it late knowing the score, but not the scorers or order. If I’d been watching it live I’d have been chewing my nails to the quicks in the first 30 minutes, thank fuck it clicked thereafter.
Great to see such massive players back, and Rojo on the bench too. The timing is perfect coming in to the critical December period.
Shout out for Young (again). Seems to be the only player we have capable of putting in a wicked cross. Would love to see him score a scorcher or two though, we know he has it in his locker when the opportunity arises.
Much happier start to the week than a fortnight ago, makes Monday a bit more bearable!

A winning goal at the Emirates and a winner vs. city would do as a start.

Great to score a few and have some players back, but we can't afford drop the standards now and need momentum to keep us in the running.

Zlatan said in his post match interview he had more than just an ACL injury! It's defo true what he says about Lions not recovering like humans.
