It's either Lionel Jesse or Messi Lingard. At least try and make it make sense!
ANYHOO! Sanchez...

Taken from BBC website.
Arsene Wenger is addressing the media and as you may expect, Alexis Sanchez and his proposed move to Manchester United is the main talking point.
"That is a story where you are well documented in the media so I do not have a lot to add to that," Wenger says. "It can happen, it can as well not happen.
"If it doesn't happen he will play on Saturday.
"I worked on transfers for 30 years so it is likely to happen but at any moment or minute things can break down. As long as it's not over the line you have to accept it may not happen. These kind of things are not guaranteed."
Wenger is asked if Henrikh Mkhitaryan joining Arsenal as part of the Sanchez deal is on the cards.
"It's a possibility it's because I like the player. We played many times against him when he was at Dortmund. He appreciated the quality of our games. The wages would not be a problem."

Good man Wenger. Got a dig into the oil-soaked pricks as well while he was at it.

You have to question the sanity of anyone who genuinely believes that Sanchez will be paid £500k per week. What is the media trying to achieve with this? Why wasn't Walcott's transfer broken down to yearly, monthly, weekly, daily, seconds, aldi Friday big shop, carpet cleaned, dog grooming bill, nipping to co-op for a bag of frozen peas. I read this out to my manager word for word earlier on.

You know what would be nice? If, shortly after he (hopefully) signs, Sanchez signed up to Mata's Common Goal. With everyone talking about his wages so much and overinflating them, it'd be a nice PR piece, a good gesture, and a nice way to say 'fuck you' to the journos without actually saying 'fuck you'.

The Mirror, seriously I wouldn't use it as bog paper. Mirror, Mail, Sun, Star - basically all the traditional UK tabloids - aren't remotely reliable. Telegraph, Times and Guardian have more reliability but are definitely prone to falsehoods now and then.

I'm a little perturbed that more people haven't signed up to this yet.

No, we haven't signed him. Yet.(/?) So let's talk about it instead of desperately F5-ing the General Transfer Window Thread. HashtagOldSchoolTransferTalk Could be a goer. Then again, could be a no-goer. Who knows. I'll tell you who. Gregory knows. #kitkat I can't see his Tweets while I'm signed into Twitter as he blocked me though. Is this what we do around here now? I know I don’t post as regularly as I used to, but of all people, Bestie, I’d have expected you would know better. Ed has enough trouble pulling off signings at the best of times without this jinx bomb going off. Shocked and appalled. We always used to have dedicated transfer target threads. Then they either got moved to the General section or locked with familiar despair. I missed them.

say what you want to say about the professor but when it comes to money he talks some sense. Fact is we generate our own money to spend and reality is whatever we wanna spend is within budget as we are tightly run, others spend what in real terms they cannot afford. The deal is a straight swap, both teams get what they need and want, how the heck can the media be so biased as to not come out and commend the savvy business. yet Liverpool get praised for splashing 75 million on 1 defender. siege mentality is fully on, Jose has to use this to get the troops on song for the rest of the season
