Some papers out there running stories about contract talks stalling with Martial. Hope it’s not true. They were stalling with Rojo too. I wouldn't worry too much.

Martial is contracted to 2019 with a bonus year option. Which I imagine we will take. Nearly 2 and a half years. I think there's no need to panic.

rumours that Mili-Savic is our top target this summer.
we should just give DDG whatever he wants. and we should not do any deals with Madrid, unless it involves us buying Isco or Asensio.

Genuinely think we should test Chelsea's resolve on Willian. Wonderful little winger. Perfect on the right.

Willian is also 29. He is fit as hell, never stops running, his conditioning and physique is such that he probably will continue to play at this level for another 3 years at least , he is vastly experienced and is quite brilliant as a winger . This has game changer written all over it .

May I also add, with Willian and Valencia together, they can shut down and dominate that flank , no matter who they come up against.
It seems so utterly synergistic.

No to Willian for me. I get that many here rate him, but I'd rather focus on other areas of the pitch, developing the players we have for the wide attacking roles. Between Martial, Rashford, Sanchez, Mata and Lingard, those two positions are probably our strongest outfield areas and should be more than enough to win the league.
Also, if Willian and Sanchez were guaranteed starters on our wings, with Lukaku playing every week up front - as I expect they would be were we to sign Willian - that would almost certainly mean the end of one of Rashford or Martial (probably Rashford given that Martial and Lingard both seem to be ahead of him in the pecking order right now). I'm not interested in that at all.

AC Milan star Franck Kessie in transfer plea: I want to play for Manchester United AC MILAN midfielder Franck Kessie would love Jose Mourinho to fulfil his dream and make him into a Manchester United star this summer. Kessie, 21, joined the San Siro club on a two-year loan deal in June 2017 with an obligation to buy. But the Ivory Coast box-to-box man has set his heart on a move to Old Trafford in the future. He’s been targeted by most of the Premier League with Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton and Manchester City joining Manchester United as members of Kessie’s fan club. But Mourinho is at the top of Kessie’s wish list as the marauding midfielder, likened to Etihad legend Yaya Toure, continues to earn rave notices in Italy. Milan have struggled this season in Serie A but Kessie has become an influential player for them and starred in December’s Coppa Italia win against city rivals Inter. And in a serious “come and get me” plea, Kessie has delivered this message to the Theatre of Dreams: “I’d like to play for United as they’ve always been my favourite team.” Whether Mourinho fancies battling Gennaro Gattuso for him, however, remains to be seen... www.google.ch/amp/s/www.express.co.uk/sport/football/923566/AC-Milan-Franck-Kessie-Manchester-United-transfer-news-gossip/amp

Willian would have been a better fit as he is a Jose player, disciplined in all areas of the game and the pitch. The midfield is the area we need to take care of come summer and the leftback so shaw has competition

The thing is, whether or not we want or dont want Willian, after Matic there isn’t a notion of the Rents selling him to us.
