We have a DOF? This is news to me. Have you quantum leaped from an alternative era? Demigod Woowoo. He's not a DoF though. Ed is the reason we need one, not because he is one.

Jardim has been sacked by Monaco, or so I read on Twitter. It just seems to be rumours right now - strong rumours, but rumours all the same.

He's been sacked.
I feel sorry for him. His team has been stripped down like a zebra carcass in the serengeti.

People seriously think we're going to appoint a DoF? Wasn't there an advert for the role with an alternative name placed on the club website?

The way market is going now its clear we cant keep throwing money at problems every season , even for a club of United's resources. So the only way forward is to sign players while young and develop them , and once you have the core of team you can maybe buy an occasional galactico to really take us to the next level.
So the solution is pretty simple , get a manager who can do that , and right now i dont think there is anyone more suited for it than Jardim , not even Zidane.
He practically ticks every single box- from a footballing point of view he plays attacking football , works with young players , is young (same as ryan giggs age), have actually won things (unlike poch) and has proven himself quite capable in europe.
Above reasons should be enough but as an added bonus he makes sense from an economic perspective as well, he can work with limited budget and is currently jobless so no contract payoff needed.
Jose can continue for this season , and jardim can takeover from next. Makes complete sense !

Yeah I wouldnt be against that also , it will give new manager enough time to get used to the league and our squad.
I just hope we wont end up in europa league spots at the season end , either champions league or it should be no europe so we can atleast concentrate on the league next season. (am i beginning to sound like the scousers )

The thing is, he is available now...he might not be for long, so we should take this opportunity... I think he is probably the most suitable choice out there right now...I feel the same way as I felt about Klopp before we didn't get him and he got scoused...
