I have this one on google books AND hard cover, it's the one I've read the most! I will update the list, it's just that it's tiring to make one. But this is an excellent suggestion. Not saying I cried, but there was definitely salty water at the last page. I will do a part two of my list, it's just that I tried to summarise the entire book. By the way, I have Sons of United, a book about the history of our Youth Academy on Dropbox. Loved that one. |

I haven’t read the book about Jimmy Murphy, which I must track down.
Dunphy is a bit of a tool as a pundit but is actually a fine writer. His Busby book ‘A strange kind of glory’ is really good and the chapter in Munich is amongst the best piece of sports writing I’ve ever read.

Me neither, I'm still hopeful that the book will arrive though. Can only purchase it after my credit card is paid, and you know how expensive the sterling is. I'm reading one about Jimmy written by John Ludden. I thought of updating the list to include other books after I am done with this one.

Bought this the other day for a £1.....in the local £1 shop lol, looking at the hardback price on Google they were selling at £20 a while back so they might not have been a good seller, not bad with lots of photos.  |

Our son bought me this for a Xmas present in 2002, can't remember how many times I have read it but it's a good read. Chapter 15 Machester Mission and the quote at the beginning is something the likes of Jose and others if the need be should read...
