I am loving the Scouse delusion that they'll win the champions league. I'm in peace to let them progress to the QFs and be smashed by Real for instance. Anyways, Tuesday was a lesson for us too on how we should approach this match.

We should go balls out and take it to them, they'll rotate as they've got the League in the bag already and another week won't hurt. Dickhead will believe they can score four unanswered goals on Tuesday if he plays his best team.
We won't though.
Shit 1-0 at best.

Just beat the fuckers, the media have been raving on in how the bin dippers have sussed out Peps team in beating them so let us do the same, it would boil my blood if the media headlines were "United can't do a Liverpool bin dipper and beat Peps City..."

We need to press them high up the pitch and actually play with a midfield. If we do that no reason why we can’t beat them. Herrera, Pogba and Matic as our midfield three. We conceded the midfield at Old Trafford and it was painful to watch “hoofball”. We scored our only goal when Rash put some pressure on Delph. That’s exactly what we need to do here again. Sanchez and Lingard can do an effective job pressing there back 4.

Also tha little shit Jesus just needs a few clatters and he’ll go missing like he did in that cesspool the other night. I think we’ll win this.

This just feels a bit meh to me. Means little in the grand scheme of things. Either we'll lose and they win the title which will sting, or we beat what will probably be their reserves which is an insult in its own way.
I'll be happy if we win, and it could maybe set a marker for next season, but it's not going to matter that much really. City won't care about it that much with the CL second leg coming up, and if we get all worked up whilst they have bigger fish to fry that hammers home the role reversal over the way it used to be.

defend and attack from the front. we have the players able to play the high press. kick them when they're down. they will rest players. with them getting a stuffing midweek this is the best time for us to play them. I prefer having mata in the team but he cant play that pressing game. Bring Mata, Rashford/Martial on
------------- DDG
Tony - Lindelof - Bailly - Young
--- Herrera - Matic - Pogba
Lingard ------ Rom ------ Sanchez

I doubt Pep will be playing reserves after what happened. He'll want his team to make a big statement.

The league is over, it doesn't matter at all, and they'd much rather have a good chance of getting through the CL but lose to us than go out but get the record for winning the PL at the earliest point or whatever. Those records mean little, a chance at the CL means so much more. This game is ultimately just a distraction to City. If the shoe was on the other foot I'd expect us to play reserves - or at least a half and half team - too.

We can take many things, but a repeat of the last 20 minutes at Old Trafford isn't one of them. city go a goal up and they're toying with us. We never looked liked scoring again. It was disgusting. The way to beat this lot is get in their faces early, get ahead, then be organised. Cannot see Mourinho doing anything but sitting back from the start though. Arsehole.
