Surprised nobody has mentioned Portugal, the European Champions. Cristiano is playing some of his best football, the Portuguese have finally found a formula that seems to work for them too, not to mention some of their younger talent gelling well in the national team setup. I think Portugal will at least reach the semi-final . But apart from them, Germany, Spain and France for me. Brazil have a shambolic defense, Argentina do not know how to play football as a team at all and Belgium, although are stacked with talent, are managed by fucking Roberto Martinez . I'm thnking Portugal. Some of the teams should be too good for them but they have a great record at tournaments and can win without playing well. They've also got the greatest of all time. |

France's talent pool is unbelievably well stocked. Although, I've backed them for the last 3 international tournaments but they keep coming up short.
So I'm going with the always reliably excellent Germans instead.

Pleasantly surprised Hart has gone. Probably a bit easier than dropping other players because the media has been on him for a few years now, having previously had a giant love affair with him that was a huge part of the problem in the first place.
Hart was always an average 'keeper who would have 1 or 2 brilliant games a season, except maybe in 11-12 when he was quite good. But he was average for ages before Pep turfed him out, and the hype around him made it worse as he never had competition, which he may have responded to had it been there.
