If Rashford wasn't out till end of the season, he would be the player of the season. After Rashford it's this guy for me. Rashford, Fred and AWB have been excellent for Utd this season. What I like about Fred in particular is that he’s really stood up in the big games. He was all over City on Wednesday and performed heroically against the Scouse. Real shame Scott is injured as he’d started to build a fine partnership. If Bruno can settle the days of crap midfields are well and truly behind us. Yeah. It won't be world class, but the difference will be massive.

The only worry with Fred for me now is he may fail a random drug test. His energy is off the charts. Three lung Park stuff.

even when Fred was on a booking last night, which was never ever a booking, I never felt he was going to be silly enough to be sent off even tho he was still all over. one of the best midfield performances ive seen from our CMs in a long time

There's not a lot to dislike about Fred at the minute, just needs to add goals to his game and he'll be a quality all round midfielder.
Especially liking the way he is taking the ball in tight situations and beating players with a cute turn/faint or pass. And despite his frame he's not being bullied off the ball like our delicate little flower Anthony up front!!

I think you spelled Paul wrong.... also, when he losses the ball, he tends to fight to get it back.

City (a) Liverpool (h) Liverpool (a) That's off the top of my head. Sure he was excellent against 'fodder' like Norwich too.

Fred on Carrick.
Michael Carrick helps me a lot day-to-day," said Fred, who revealed that the former United midfielder has helped him improve his positioning and his composure on the ball.
"We always talk and he tries to help me with my positioning on the field.
"Carrick is a guy that always helps me. He is someone that always talks to me, which is important for adapting my football for the Premier League.
"Because when I arrived I would control the ball in midfield and, well, one or two opposition players would come along and I'd be knocked off the ball. So now I can understand the game better and that I have to be quicker and stronger.
"Carrick helps me to calm down. We do some one-on-one training, so he's someone who influences me a lot at the club."
Fred accepted that it took him some time to adapt to the Premier League, but insisted that was normal for a player who had never experienced English football before his transfer.
He added: "Well I think it was an adaptation, to a new country, a new game style in England that is different, so I believe that was the most difficult thing for me. I had to adapt to a new style of game, which is the Premier League, and very different to the Ukrainian championship. But I think that is normal.
"I think the majority of players that come from other countries that don't have a championship as strong as here in the Premier League end up feeling that process of adaptation. So I think it's basically that."
