This is the point, wasn't suggesting he comes in this season and starts for us on the right wing or starts any game during the season for that matter but he has to be involved on some level in my opinion. I'd really rather not waste an absolute fortune on a right winger when we have as bright a talent as him as well as the likes of Sanchez already here. I fear if we go out and sign another player for one of our few attacking positions then it just further sets back the chances for these younger players. Surely you meant he should start? If not then we need to sign someone. We need to sign someone regardless for that position. Never at one point suggested he should be our starting winger. I said make use of what we have (Sanchez) and get him integrated in the first team squad.

Sounds like the norm for him. Fell asleep so didn't get around to watching the game. Game any good? Did you even read what he said or are you just throwing shade for fun? He said the defensive display would have Jose raving. How is that the norm for him? If anything that's the opposite for him . My comment was tongue in cheek. However I'd hardly say that its the opposite for him. You have heard of the term "parking the bus".

I agree with FGUAW, the problem is how the plsyers are being used, not the quality in the squad we currently have. Bleed some of the youngsters through and give them their chances. Some of them would take it with both hands.

Grandpa's post said that the defending would have Jose raving. How is that the same as parking the bus ? They clearly weren't parking the bus , because their defending was poor. So how did you make that connection ?

As if to say why would Jose be raving seeing as he plays defensive any other time.

So how did you make that connection ? Skim read posts and it's easy to make that connection. At first I didn't see it until I went back a read the second line of GP's post. Deleted two long arse posts replying to stuff that wasn't there yesterday. It happens. If you're not paying full attention, 'Raving' can be taken as buzzing/fuming.

Like I said, skim read a few posts and you see Jose Raving about the defensive showing, most would take it as a brilliant showing. As it stands, watching the first half Lee Grant had to be pretty good.

That's why I pointed out that we are a very defensive team already, so for him to get fuming at our defense would probably not be the norm.

That's why it's caused an issue, he said raving.

He'll get fuming about it but will still do it again and again so it is the norm because he doesn't learn from his mistakes.

Didn't Chong have a big injury not so long ago? So he's a little behind on his physical development as regards to the 'intenstity' of proper man's football. But he has all the right tools to be a success.
