Oliver Kay @oliverkay · 5h And whereas Arsenal and Tottenham have paid for the construction of a stadium, #MUFC have paid all of that -- along with dividends, bond buybacks etc -- simply to prop up the Glazers' ownership of the club. Even if the Glazers had run the club competently, it would be a disgrace Quote Tweet Swiss Ramble @swissramble · 5h Looking at the 12 years up to 2021, #MUFC £517m interest payment was nearly three times as much as the next highest club, namely #AFC with £174m. Looked at another way, it was almost as much as the rest of the Premier League combined (£536m).

It's a real mess. Reality is it shows how poorly the club has been run, only a idiot could have messed this up. The wages is just staggering considering the lack of trophies and more importantly the lack of attractive football.
We got massive wages off the books in the summer but we seem hellbent on dishing out more. Antony reportedly on £19k a week at Ajax is now on £200k with us, makes no sense whatsoever considering he was desperate to play for ETH and we were the only people seriously in for him. When do we learn? When do we work with a success and only success will be rewarded system?
Interest payments, less said the better.
The priority should always have been success on the pitch as that would really have helped better facilitate the daylight robbery we have all witnessed over the years.
One can only pray and hope the end is near

Toe In The Water @toeinthewater1 · Aug 4 AVRAM GLAZER became chairman of Innovate Corp two years ago. Yesterday's results show shares are sinking like a stone👇. He sold $95m of United shares in early 2021 to help him build a 29% stake in Innovate on which he has made huge paper losses. 🙄👉🗑️
They have form for this & plenty of it.

I just can't see Joel and Avram being able to persuade the other 4 from cashing in for much longer.

They're hanging on until December for the Super League hearing. If that goes tits up for them, then they're off back to the swamps they belong!

I tend to agree, however I think they still go,if, which is very unlikely the Super League case finds in their favour,it merely adds more value to the current saleable assets.

It's hard to see them leave if that abomination gets a green light.. They are going RC. Despite, the levels of debt, daily loses of circa £3mill ,lack of cash at bank the problems they can't solve because they already spent the money many many times over a are OT & Carrington, not even the ESL money eases these issues for them.

This feels significant, if only for the derision it was greeted with. No one has any interest in these terms.
