It's only a matter of time before the Saudis get involved...I'm surprised it hasn't already happened...not necessarily with United but certainly with a big European team...

Not sure I’m keen on the Saudi rumours either, given their recent difficulties over the disappearance of Khasgoggi in Turkey.

13 years of the Glazers followed by the Saudis.
What a time to be alive!

Trying to decide whether this is a good or bad thing...
1. Good thing...the Glazers are gone and with it, our debt...
2. Bad thing...it's another oil rich country buggering about with our league and our team...
On the other hand...see 1.
If it isn't us, it will be someone else...so it might as well be us...I can't see it as worse than what we have...
Note: I may regret these words at some point in the future...

Been expecting them to stick their oar in for ages. Again not necessarily with us, but one of the big European clubs. Suppose Serie A hasn't had the prestige in recent years and the Bundesliga wouldn't allow it. Only leaves Barca and Real of the world superclubs and neither of them would be gettable given the respective ownerships. Of course, in-keeping with our most recent history, we will not only be late to the oil soaked billionaire party but we will have the wrong fucking ones to boot.

I hate the idea the Glazers stand to make so much money from degrading our club even further and getting to walk away. Fucking bastards.

I'd rather the Glazers than the Saudi's It's like being on death row and getting to choose your method of your execution. After 13 years we still have a fucking debt as well.

Aye, but the debt is better than the shady shit the Saudi's are supposedly involved in. At least the debt is legal. *shudders* Having the Saudi's own us would just put us in the same bracket as City and PSG.

I suppose the one upside is the meltdown the press would have while conveniently forgetting about our blue neighbours #NotAmnesty International FC.

We've already sold our soul, might as well dance with the devil and not have to pay for it out of our own pockets.

Having owners that want to compete, has to be better, than the current regime that just want to use the club as a cash cow.
