We need a second striker. Honestly , I remember us having at least 3 established strikers to call upon before. Right now, it's only Lukaku . And he's been dreadful so far.
If he gets injured, where's our backup ?
I keep thinking, all those chances Lukaku has missed this season, Chicharito would have made short work of them all. Bloody hell we need someone who doesn't need 4 chances to score one goal. Someone to throw on in the dying minutes when there's a game to be won. Or someone who can start when Lukaku is going through a shit run of form. I'd like someone like Icardi to be honest.

We need a second striker. Honestly , I remember us having at least 3 established strikers to call upon before. Right now, it's only Lukaku . And he's been dreadful so far. I always thought Lukaku was a squad player at a top club. If we'd have signed him for £30/£40mil to add to our options then I'd have thought of it as an excellent signing. £75mil to be our starting striker? Not a chance. He's just not upto that level.

Icardi's finish against Tottenham was sensational. And he's been that way most of his life to be honest. Superb finisher. I so badly want Lukaku to prove everyone wrong, but those couple of misses yesterday was somewhat like a last straw . So exasperating. |
