I do like Ramsey, he's brilliant on his day - he'd be a disaster under Mourinho though, the style he seems to thrive in is basically the opposite of Mourinho's approach.

The thing about Barcelona is they'll lowball as bad as Real do. Their offer in the summer (£45m plus Andre Gomes and someone else average) was so disgraceful they should have been given another transfer ban.
Never thought I'd say these words, but Ed could take a leaf out of the scouse book. They got a ridiculous fee for Coutinho by holding firm. We should at the very least be getting a bigger fee than what he went for (about £120m I think).

I think we needn't worry too much about Lukaku unless he starts to score more than he misses. The bigger worry with Lukaku might be trying to get our money back if we get someone better in. It's funny that him, Morata and Lacazette were the three huge deals in the PL that summer for 3 teams that desperately needed a striker. Lukaku has been a mixed bag, whilst the other two have pretty much been undeniable failures (though I think Lacazette still has hope). All three were supposed to be game-changers but none have been. |
