2 goals for Rabiot tonight. I wonder is he happy though, I mean he could be playing Olé Hag ball in the Europa tomorrow instead

Juve chief in European football warning
Simon Stone
BBC Sport
Juventus owner Andrea Agnelli says Europe’s top clubs are taking increasing risks trying to keep pace with their Premier League counterparts.
Juve lost an eye-watering €254m (£223.34m) in the last financial year and, along with Real Madrid and Barcelona, are waiting for a legal ruling on UEFA's monopoly around running inter-country competitions.
“Our industry has been inhibited by structural problems for too long, which if not addressed and solved collectively risk jeopardising the European future of the most beautiful sport in the world,” said Agnelli in a letter to shareholders.
Agnelli outlined ‘the financial unsustainability for clubs, despite historic revenue growth’ and also ‘the polarisation - within European domestic leagues of all sizes, with a small number of clubs always winning, and between European leagues’.
In this regard, Agnelli said, the Premier League, whose global TV income dwarfs every other top league, are ‘unapproachable for any other domestic league’.
“As a result,” he added, “continental clubs need access to the Champions League as the only leverage to limit their loss of ground to English clubs - increasing economic and sporting risks.”
Agnelli says he expects the ECJ verdict to be delivered at some point this season. “It will,” he said, “be extremely relevant for all stakeholders.
“Although many analysts and commentators agree on the current negative context, few solutions have been presented by football stakeholders,” he said. “And those being discussed have almost always met with stagnating conservatism.”

City, psg,Newcastle etc.can do a Leeds 10 times over until it sticks without any consequences. But even before that the authorities should have got to grips with Real Madrid when they where 175 million in debt due to overspending and they sold their training ground to Madrid council for 175 million who donated it back to them for nothing iirc.so they could still compete for the top players. on the flip side the authorities should not have let the glazers buy utd with the clubs own money.

Di Maria limping off crying.
Hope he doesn’t miss the World Cup. That would be a real shame because he’s such a nice lad. Fingers crossed

Potter seems to have got Chelsea flying, convincing wins of late, glad we play them soon and at the Bridge where we always seem to get robbed 🙄

Isn’t it mad that once Pep leaves Barca and Bayern that the injuries pile up and players don’t run as far or as hard 🤔

Club Brugge topping a CL group including Atletico, Porto & Leverkusen, without conceding a single goal in 4 games, is pretty impressive!

When you dig into how Barca have spent the money from their levers in the summer, you have to question some of it. Why did they get Raphinha when they had Dembele? surely you get him and Toress competing on the right and using the vast sums on a CDM (Kessie is not that player).
They also needed a RB and LB. I am just wondering why they didn't pick their buys to supplement the quality they had in some areas. Lewandowski, Kessie were good acquisitions, Christensen is like just another body, Kounde was a good buy and should have been partnered with Araujo in the center of defence.

Spanish Government have withdrawn their objection to the Super League. Considering their two biggest clubs never withdrew from it, I'm not surprised. Remains to be seen what the rest will do.

Isn’t it mad that once Pep leaves Barca and Bayern that the injuries pile up and players don’t run as far or as hard 🤔 Yeah but haven't you heard, Pep is a fake and a lucky bastard. Why doesn't he manage Swansea. Great people never look like there doing much until they're gone.
