They keep on sacking the manager but the quality of the opposition in their league must hinder them when it comes to playing with the big boys? What happened to Liverpool's defence and is Salah going to have a quieter season than his last? Of course Salah will have a drop off. Uefa head of competitions Andrea Agnelli said "the green light has been given", pending approval. He did not give any more details on how the tournament would be organised or when it would be staged. Agnelli, who is also chairman of Italian champions Juventus, said: "The current model needs modernising."
