You watch. That guy is a seriously good coach if one of the big teams give him a go Maybe make the jump to spuds when poch leaves? He has done very well with what has been available to him

I think Mata showed in his performance today that he's been underused this season. Shouldn't be starting week in week out but in games where we've been crying out for a bit of creativity it's criminal he stays on the bench for the entire game.
Think he's still a very good squad player if you get him in the middle of an attack with a load of pace.

Just wished the international break wouldn't interrupt our flow from this. Lets not disillusion ourselves mate. We've got Chelsea next, at the bridge. This international break is going to distrupt nothing. We're still shit. Just nice to e joy a bit of positivity for a change, even if it was for only 20 minutes. Just wished the international break wouldn't interrupt our flow from this. If anything I think the timing for the international break is perfect. We're on the back of some horrible, horrible form and tonight's given us something to smile about. Only good will come from taking a short break for everyone to cool their nerves a little, for the media shite storm to stop for a bit and for us to potentially come back more focused to face a far tougher round of fixtures. Just wished the international break wouldn't interrupt our flow from this. Flow? 1. Yes, it's Newcastle, bottom of the league. Yes, we only played well for a half. I'm not saying we will win against Chelski - but I feel if the game was next week, we would be at somewhat in good spirit that they have clawed back the win from what everyone had doomed us from the start. The players would be going into another game straight from the end of this match which we came back from 2-0 down. The players gave their maximum effort, and they can carry it onto their next match with fire in their bellies. They have got a point to prove, and where else better than a big game? 2. We might have only scored from 70th minutes onwards - but the desire was already showing with some players in the first half after the substitution. Headless chickens yes, but at least the desire was there. 2nd half was where Mou sorted his head around with the tactics. Combined together, the win was coming. 3. Furthermore, my personal preference would have been to play the next game as soon as possible to see if it's a "fluke" / "one-off" or is this season still salvageable? Is this the turning point? - I think the players might want to know that as well (or at least those who want to stay).

Not sure if anyone noticed, but for the first 70 minutes, this team looked awful. Around the 70th minute, the whole demeanor of the team changed. That's when Sanchez came I to the game. From then on, the team was competely different. For all the talk and complaint against Sánchez, seeing the team without him in the first 70 was horrible. No chance. We're getting blown out by this team. I think it goes to say this team with Sanchez on the pitch is exponentially better than without him. Players that are getting credit for the game, martial, Pogba looked lost and garbage before the 70 minute, before Sanchez came in. Just my 2 cents.

Good job we've got him on a long term contract and he can't leave on a free in the summer (agree terms with foreigners in Jan) along with Ander, Young and Shaw and one other I can't think of

Based on current home form that was more of a blip than a flow.

Why the fuck are you here then ? Fuck off and dont celebrate ? I simply doesn't think that it changes anything. Mourinho is still a shitbird, the team is still in a bad shape, our directors are still clowns. I'm somewhat happy for the win but I'm still not optimistic about the future. Fuck me, cheer up ye miserable sod. We scored 3 times in the last 20 minutes. Jesus Christ 🙄

I know we're playing Chelsea at the Bridge next, lousy record there but the confidence levels have to up after scoring 3 in 20 minutes, it's irrelevant it was Newcastle.
It's a boost I'll put it that way.
