Haven't seen this on this thread so here goes...to some controversial and possibly unpopular but maybe not to others... I would prefer MBS to buy our club rather than having the gimps running it... [reaches for tin hat and flak jacket] I think a lot of people would. For me it's the end of my support for the club, but each to their own I suppose. |

The Deer Hunter. Fucking boring. I think that's the first time I've ever heard it being called boring. Lot of people I know didnt like it but none used the word boring. :S Yeah feel good movie it's not but it's one of my favs. It's iconic. |

I hear you and understand where you and others are coming from but being realistic, the game is fucked and has been for a while... We also stopped being a football club a long time ago... We can get all sanctimonious about the Saudis and yes, they have a culture that is pretty medieval at times...but please to anyone who wants to say their regime is corrupt and that they have people killed...please stop being so naive...we have done it, so have the Americans and pretty much every country in the world...we are seemingly better at hiding it... So for me, fuck it, let's have owners who don't care about the money and just ant the club to be the best...whatever you say about Mansour and his lot, that's all they care about and look at the result... The gimps just want to milk the cash cow...and that will not lead to us being at the top again unless we can find another Fergie...and good luck with that... |

I don't want the Saudis to come in at all, but I don't know if I could stop supporting the club. That would be hard. You'd just have to accept we have the moral low ground for a lot of things, and that our trophies wouldn't mean quite as much as when Fergie won them (bar perhaps the first league win).
I dunno really. Hard to say precisely how uncomfortable I'd feel until it actually happened.

My issue with Saudi Arabia goes well beyond their culture and whether they have people killed or not, but to be fair I've been slowly falling out of love with football anyway, so it's not entirely resting on their involvement. Like you say, football is fucked, and I'm hanging in there by a thread as it is. |

I personally couldn't care if the Saudis was the bloodiest of money, if it means catching and overtaking city again. The game has changed now and we as a club have for the worse with the gimps in charge, I want to see us winning and winning well.

I hate the gimps and what they've done but yes, I'd still sooner be assosciated with them than the Saudis. Is everyone who's on board with the Saudis happy with their involvement with Islamic State terrorism? |

Its picking the lesser of two evils. Neither one is an ideal choice.
We stick with these leeches and we suffer and slowly turn into the vermin we've mocked for so long.
The Saudi's take over and we possibly improve with cash injection and turn into the Bertie's we've mocked for so long. Worse is the Glazer cunts leave with a few bn profit.
Either way we're hypocrites. However the game has changed and its all about money now so to change with it there seems to be one obvious choice and its not one we want the make but needs must. Hate the direction the sport has taken but right now it's a case of anything to see the back of the cunts we currently have.

Saw Coco being talked about in the movie thread so I thought this would be the right place to post this.
It's a bang average, almost mediocre movie. Absolutely nothing about it stood out for me. Doesn't hold a candle to Inside Out which is fantastic.
