Most imporant few weeks of the season starts with this. Ignoring the City game, we've been playing much better recently. We now have 4 league games coming up which are very much winnable and I want to see us take maximum points from them all. The sides above us all have fixtures which they could easily drop points in during that period as well. The most important weeks of the season are over, as far as I’m concerned. Unfortunately, trailing 4 teams by 7-12 points in November means that we can start planning for next season

Despite the gap I think that is very much possible if we continue to play as we have the last 6/7 weeks.
As I say, make sure we win these next 4 games, if we do that we'll already be a good bit closer to the top 4.
Obviously it all goes to shit if we don't win today, which we're capable of doing if we slip back into our early season form.

Relax, I’m sure there will still be talk of top 4 even if we lose today. Two wins in a row at any stage this season and we’re all giddy again

IMO there's still plenty to be optimistic about in recent months despite the humbling against City.
Ultimately it's all not good enough for us but we are where we are and I want to stay in the Champions League.
I appreciate that we're pretty much Arsenal at this point.

For the Irish members on here, game is on Sky Sports Premier League at 2:55pm if you can access it.
I'm off down to the local to watch it, couple of pints might ease the struggle. lol.

I agree that we are on the back of a decent run. It’s been exciting and all winning (and unfortunately conceding) in the closing stages. I actually did not expect us to be in the game with minutes to go against City, so despite the shitshow of a performance I saw the positive in that. I think City had much better chances when we beat them in April. Having said that, I am not that bothered about the “race for top 4”. For me, the CL is a glorified cup competition that is part of the wrong that there is with modern day football as it’s just been presented by football leaks. We are not likely to win the competition anyway so practcally this is a race for the chance to have a better hand tempting players in the summer. Yeah

Beginning to wonder why the fuck we signed Fred. Bet Pereira wishes he opted for another loan out. Fucking piss take neither of these are getting more game time.
That back four is utter wank fair play. Zaha must he pissing himself laughing.

Agree with Paul, Fred and Pereira not starting in that midfield is scandalous.
He loves Matic and Lukaku, rinse and repeat.
As I said before any semblance of momentum we get is nullified by Matic in midfield as he slows everything down, two touch guy.
Horrible back four.

What was the point of Dalot or Fred? Dalot surely can’t be worse than Darmian.
And God knows what Periera did. Anyone who got upset with him for going on loan last year against Jose’s wishes should send him a personal apology given what’s happened to him this season.

That team screams out 'we're grinding out a narrow win'. Piss off Jose.

It is a joke that Darmian who has no fucking future at the club gets in over Dalot or Valencia. Jose will deserve to get battered if we drop points today.
