Remember when Giggs took over and the gloom likewise departed, and then in his first game in charge he started Fellaini? I'd imagine players will be breaking their necks for Ole because anyone not starting or on the bench is essentially marked for death. I think the team will actually play some football instead of laboriously work some football against Cardiff. Get some joy in the side again! This should be a thrashing. Why mention this

Looking forward to a new approach and hopefully a good win, Ole might even come on if Lukaku is misfiring to show him how it's done.

Thought we won 4-0 not playing Fellaini.

Fellaini was an unused sub against Sunderland, May 3. The following match against Hull City May 6, Fellaini played. So, I should have written, "remember when Giggs had the chance to prove himself as caretaker manager and named Fellaini to the bench in his 2nd match in charge, then played him in his 3rd match in charge?" Pretty sure you knew what I was getting at anyway, but don't let pedantry get in the way of a good Internet comment. Point was that many were excited that Giggs took over and were hoping he'd show some initiative, only for the euphoria to wear off pretty fast. Hoping Ole avoids similar.

Will we hold it against him 4 years later if he plays him once? It'll be more than once as well.

In my view Fellaini does not have a place in any United side that is striving to look like an actual United side.

Interim managers especially have to play everyone as they are trying to create some sort of feel good factor, everyone will get a run out.

Save OGS the trouble.
