I've been mildly surprised at how many people have been writing off Lukaku's United prospects, but two brilliant assists last night.
He brings something different to our attack and if he can start producing that for others whilst scoring at the figures he's always been he'll get minutes.
He's on 109 goals and 42 assists in the Premier League and still only 25.
On a separate note, Shaw's run and ball in the lead up to Lingard's goal is exactly what I want to see more of from him.

So funny when the guy is getting all bent out of shape and says, "and seeing that cunt Lingard moonwalking in front of me!!" ha ha ha ha He literally moonwalked out of the Emirates late night. So wonderful to see the lads in such good mood, I don't think they remember the last time they felt like this. They now got a 100 % staff who breathe and feel the United way, for the first time since Sir Alex Ferguson.

Let us not forget the goalscorer, a player former big-time Charlie Paul Ince described as “a prime example of everything that’s wrong at Manchester United” just last month. This player. Lingard, a youth product who has been at Old Trafford for 19 of his 26 years, did not seem to be too inhibited by launching a clothing line or having a Twitter account when he cleverly checked his run before slotting past Cech.
Paul Ince? Really? Everything that is wrong about United? By a player who celebrated with the scousers thinking he denied us winning the league. God, I hope the krauts do them if only to remind them of that Bayern flag at the Kop

On this showing, Alexi$ and (f)Lukaku look like decent backup options, but we are so much better with Rashford and Martial starting. My only concern with the way these last 8 games have gone is that our beautiful balding bearded bastard (Mata) has had almost no part. The resurgence of Herrera's marauding form has been great to watch. He covered every blade of grass tonight, twice. Stone Cold also ran his balls off. People may like Mata as a person but couldn't care less about him not being in the team tbh. He'd slow us down. Ole has been bloody brilliant. Picked his teams perfectly. He's been thinking he doesn't need to keep the players happy as he's not going to be here next season so he hasn't rotated much. He'll have to rotate more towards the end end of the season you'd think. Not sure how you arrived at that conclusion. |
