It's a clear cut decision . You get to bring in one of the brightest young talents to play with a good young core in our team , at the biggest club in England, with possibly, an exciting manager as well. For the lad, the prospect should be tantalising enough. What remains is for that cunt Ed to not try and low ball either the player or Dortmund.
Get it done.

Without being melodramatic, this summer is one of the most important in the club’s recent history, certainly since Fergie left. We can all feel it, we can sense how tantalizingly close it is. Ole has done brilliantly but unfortunately isn’t actually a magician. He’s getting almost the max from what he has but to really make a go of it he needs some serious weapons. As many have mentioned previously, they only need to look at Liverpool in the last 12 months. They did nothing in the league last year and now look at them. If we get this right, given the age profile of most of our key guys, we can compete for years. Or we can be Arsenal. Over to you Ed.

Same, but I think he stays. If I'm his agent I'm telling him to stay at Dortmund for one more year at least. If he keeps this up until summer 2020 every club in Europe will make an offer for him. Also, he might be like Pogba and still like the club he left in spite of needing to leave for game time, in which case he may be unlikely to come here anyway. I’m pretty sure he’d be open to joining Utd. There were were whispers he was pissed off with City and the lack of a chance he got there. This might be one of the few times we have an advantage geographically over the likes of Madrid, Turin etc so we need to use it. United tried to get him before he left City, there were other clubs sniffing round but City didn’t want to sell to an English club. I remember reading that at the time. I can’t see us paying that price though.

I don't that that's the issue, I just don't see us spending the kind of money on one player. Ole hinted during one of his press conferences about not necessarily needing big names. I don't want to piss on the transfer parade but I think we are more likely to shift towards a more conservative approach. They are balking on giving De Gea 350 grand a week according to this mornings press. I think the purse strings are tightening imo. Happy to be proved wrong though!

Fred cost over 50 million from Ukraine. That's probably the standard price nowadays unless there are buy outs! Money well spent. Great song that. Worth 50 million not having to sing “we got Sanchez, Paul Pogba and Ed”

If we can’t get Sancho I’d go for Jack Clarke of Leeds. An extremely talented 18 year old who would give us extra width on the right.
There it is, my shopping list is Clarke (Sancho), Toby, Rabiot and AWB. Perfectly doable in terms of total transfer fees

These are the kind of punts I'd rather take. So many players with potential that we have missed and then gone elsewhere, usually Spurs. We have at least 3 positions that need addressing rather than blow the budget on Sancho.

Sancho is a special talent and English, so I'd be in for him regardless. I'm not keen on the thought of bringing in any other young right winger though, when we've got Chong already here. If Sancho isn't gettable then our right wing purchase should be someone more established IMO.

A summer of:
In: Aldereiweld Sessegnon Ndombele Sancho
Out: Valencia Smalling Sanchez Mata
With Greenwood, Gomes, Garner & Chong being used more next season would do me. If we could nab someone like Maddison for a decent fee too, that’d be the icing on the cake.

Not that I would agree with it.

Whatever we can save on his nonsensical wage we can put towards DDG at the very least.
