Excellent news- Martial is available and he’s hopeful one of Matic or Herrera will be fit. id keep them on the bench for it. least we know we can bring them on and rotate. the lads who played on Wednesday will be on a massive buzz. let them carry it on

I’d play Martial and Herrera. The lads put in an enormous shift so any kind of freshness will be of huge benefit. Herrera in particular would be a boost. There’s always been a European hangover so anything to fight that helps. And they’re better players to put it bluntly.

Good news with the injuries.
DDG Young Smalling Lindelof Shaw McTominay Herrera Fred Pogba Lukaku Rashford
I would rotate Herrera in. Leave Dalot and Martial for the bench. Dalot has proved his worth but I love the idea of him coming on later for a midfielder and going RW changing the system. Martial an obvious choice to replace one of the strikers.
Pogba and Fred could interchange in the tip of the diamond.
These gits are there for the taking, hopefully we can get right into them.

If Martial and Herrera are fit I'd play them. I think in order to play Martial Rashford has to make way. Penalty aside he hasn't played well in the last two, whilst Lukaku has got four goals in those games. I just can't justify dropping Lukaku, even though he was awful at times against Southampton.

Its a shame on some of the youngsters after midweek, especially Fred who I thought was excellent in the 2nd half but if Herrera is fit then he comes back in. He's a big game player, this is a massive game for us. Providing they are fully match fit then they have to play. That Arsenal back four is worse than ours so we need to exploit it.
Dave
Dalot - Lindelof - Smalling - Shaw
McTomminay - Pogba - Herrera
Lukaku - Rashford - Martial.

yeh fair point. where would you play Martial ? LW. The two up top worked really well against this lot in the FA Cup. It was Lukaku and Sanchez with Lingard behind. Their defenders struggled to cope with how mobile those three were. If we can play that again, we definitely should IMO (which means no left winger) - the question is who fills the Lingard role. Perhaps just Pogba as CAM. I'd go (assuming fitness): DDG Dalot - Smalling - Lindelof - Shaw Matic Herrera - Pereira Pogba Lukaku - Martial I just don't see why we would play 4-3-3 if we could play 4-3-1-2 given how effective the latter was against this team just two months ago.

At least we now know that OlePhelan have a game plan for each game and know what to do if it needs changing, I’m confident and have complete trust in the coaches.

They left out Nani’s goal and I think no 3 is actually the best but a decent top ten.

I wouldn't be dropping Fred. he has played the last 2 games and looked loads better in the latter. he will be match fit full of confidence coming in to this. Herrera been out for a couple of games. bring him on in the second half.
it would be interesting to see martial play the LF role alongside Lukaku. it could be absolutely perfect for him as you still play slightly wide with the CAM taking up the more central positions.
